I’ve been using apple airpods for a while now, and thought I’d treat myself to something different as the battery life was awful and I’ve always heard good things about Sony products.These earbuds are by far my favourite. They fit nicely into the ear, they feel comfortable and don’t feel like they’re going to fall out every five minutes.The sound quality is brilliant, I mainly use mine for listening to audio books or music and with the app everything is customisable.The battery life is brilliant, they last for about eight hours continuous use, and take about fifteen minutes to charge in the case.The control buttons on the side work well.For the money these are fantastic headphones, compared to the price of the apple ones these look, feel and sound far more superior but for a fraction of the cost.

The connection frequently keeps dropping in the left earbud. If you put it back in the case, and take it out again, it pairs again. Also, the connection between two devices is often not seamless, you have to reconnect it to the device you want to use it with.Battery life is excellent, with a single charge of 2 hours, it’s good to go for 3/4 days. Great value for money. It’s snug in your ears, so a comfortable to wear for long hours. Touch control is good. The sound quality is great, the only problem with functionality is the frequent dropping in the connection. That’s why I am returning it.

Simply put, I do’t believe you’ll find better value headphones out there. They sound excellent – obviously they are not £250 headphones, so bear that in mind, but the sound is outstanding for the money and sound better than headphones I’ve had which were 5 or 6 times more expensive. I run with these in every day, I don’t get any wind whistle as I run, they stay in (your ears may vary) they are super light and comfortable so you won’t even know they were there.The noise cancelling ins’t up to much, but I point you again to the price. Don’t expect airpod pro noise cancelling on something that is a fraction of the cost. I have very high end ear buds (including the top end sony buds which I wouldn’t bother with) and I’ve tried other market leaders. If you want a super nice set with outstanding sound separation and are willing to spend the money, get the Status Between pro 3ANC or the Pro X. If you want a pair of everyday buds that will take whatever you through at them, will sound great and are super comfortable then get these. If you lose them, at this price, it’s not the end of the world – perfect for teenagers!

Connectivity has been flawless, decent range and no drop outs or interference that I’ve experienced with other similarly priced earbuds when walking around town, especially late at night.Comfort is fine, I’ve worn them day and night and even slept listening to music and audiobooks without noticing them.Battery life is great and recharging is super quick.Fit is good enough to passively block most ambient sounds like traffic etc. One press on the left bud switches the mics on/off for when you go into a shop, get on a bus or whatever and need to hear what other people are saying.The default sound is well balanced and lively at loud volumes but at lower volumes is noticeably biased towards bass to the detriment of mid and high frequencies and can feel rather flat/boring at times. This can easily be adjusted to taste with either your music player’s EQ or the earbud app’s “EQ finder”.The best feature I’ve noticed is that due to the good fit, they have consistency in terms of sound.Other similarly priced earbuds I’ve used can change the sound whenever you yawn, swallow, eat or even tilt your head too far. With these, it never seems to matter what you do, the sound remains the same.

Although I do not usually discern subtle differences between high-end earbuds and more affordable models, this device clearly stands apart. It delivers an experience that does not feel “cheap” in any respect, particularly in its audio reproduction. Sony has delivered a well-executed and highly refined product with this model.

These are excellent earbuds with great sound and good battery life. This is my second pair and had completely forgotten that they do not come with a charging lead luckily I had one. As more and more of this type of equipment is no longer coming with a charging lead and leads tend not to last for any great length of time this could potentially be an added expense to the earbuds, however as they are on offer at the moment they are great value for money, even if you do need to purchase a charging lead. They connected instantly to my phone and it only took minutes to also connect to my laptop also so having the functionality to use on two devices is an added bonus for the price. The size of the earbuds are great for people with small ears and are very comfortable to wear for long periods. The reason for the 3* is that I ordered blue earbuds and the ones that arrived with black and I ideally wanted a different colour to those I had purchased previously.
