I brought a pair of these upwards of 5 years ago and they had reached the end of their life. I’m a bit of a creature of habit, so I was very happy when I found out that they still sold them (or incredibly similar) all this time later.I listen to music on average around 5-6 hours a day on a mix of headphones, phone or speaker system and I’ve never had a problem with these headphones, which is clear from going back to them.I have to say though, a new pair was like breaking in leather shoes. The adjusters are stiffer and they aren’t stretched or fitted to my head and the earpieces actually click back into place which is nice.The biggest shock was the ‘pads’ on the ears. On my old headphones, I’d worn them so often that they’d cracked and the foam had broken up so I replaced them with some spare ones my Dad had off of some expensive broken Sony Volvo headphones. I was so used to these more expensive ones that the little circle ones it comes with felt hard against my ears. But considering for at least 4 years I had the original ones, it couldn’t have been that bad, I’ve just got used to better quality. Needless to say, I transferred my better ones over and now my headphones feel perfect. (It’s really easy to switch them over if you want to)I also find the built-in mic works well and I use it when on online calls on my laptop or calling people on my mobile and I’ve never had an issue.For noise cancellation… I’m not sure? I listen to my music loud enough that I cut out the outside world anyway but they don’t actively cancel noise like more expensive models.So, for the price they give good sound and fit and pack up small enough to fit in a small (phone-sized) handbag. I’d definitely recommend it for those looking for headphones without all the bells and whistles or on a budget.Hopefully, in another 5 years, they still make them and I can get another pair…

These are very good value for money. One reviewer here complains about the cable being thinner than his previous ones and getting tangled. If you choose the the ones with an in-line microphone then they have to have a thinner cable for the microphone connection. The ones without the in-line microphone have a much thicker cable which doesn’t get tangled and this is the one that the reviewer is referring to as his previous headphones. He just chose the wrong ones for his purpose, there is nothing wrong with them.

As a family with young children it is vital to have a good and diverse selection of headphones – each of us is frequently connected to an electronic device and either shouldn’t disturb the others or requires some peace and quiet. Now our oldest needed a wired headset to take to school and potentially keep it there in her locker, so we simply had to add another one. This Sony headset perfectly filled the need at a very friendly price.Being black it is quite neutral, it is light weight, wears comfortably can be folded together rather neatly. The headband is fairly broad and not as flimsy as you would often see with cheap headsets, so this will survive rough handling in schoolbags. The sound quality is good enough for our purposes; online education, video calls and the occasional podcast. If yo would use it to listen to music you will not be disappointed; the bass is fine, the different sounds are highly distinguishable. Though the headset lacks any controls for bass or volume, nor does it include a micro phone. It does however claim to have active noise cancelling, however I found it fairly ineffective (compared to my super-upscale Bose headset (that has noise cancelling that isn’t even perfect) – I could still my wife’s usual rant directed at me through it , way too clear.All in all this is a very good value, no frill headset. Surprised by the price / quality actually. Would recommend.

Wofür verwende ich diese Kopfhörer?Ich habe mir diese Kopfhörer gekauft, um sie in erster Linie im Fitnessstudio zu benutzen. Davon wurde mir zwar abgeraten, da Kopfhörer an sich nicht sporttauglich sind, bei dem günstigen Preis habe ich mich jedoch letztendlich doch dafür entschieden und bin vollkommen glücklich.Ich benutze sie also hauptsächlich beim Krafttraining, ab und zu beim Joggen oder auch auf längeren Reisen zum Musik hören. Mehr zur Verwendung beim Sport weiter unten.OptikDie Optik ist super, sie sehen sehr modern und hochwertig aus. Ich habe sie Schwarz gekauft, da ich sehr schlichte Kopfhörer in cooler Optik gesucht habe und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Sehr wichtig war mir außerdem auch die Größe der Kopfhörer, da sie besonders an Frauen oft klobig wirken können. Diese haben die perfekte Größe und eignen sich auch super für Frauenköpfe. Auch das Kabel sieht der hochwertig und cool aus, daher ist es überhaupt nicht schlimm, dass sie kein Bluetooth haben.Funktionalität und TragekomfortDurch die verstellbare Kopfhalterung werden sie sich wohl an jeden Kopf anpassen, wobei mir die normale Größe perfekt passt und ich sie nicht größer stellen muss.Der Sound ist vollkommen in Ordnung, er mag zwar nicht sehr gut sein, zum Musik hören ohne große Ansprüche reicht es aber vollkommen.Das Kabel ist sehr lang, evtl. sogar etwas zu lang, da ich sie aber beim Fitness verwende ist es für mich optimal, da ich so das Handy auch mal bei einer Übung neben mich legen kann ohne dass das Kabel spannt.Der einzige Minuspunkt ist, dass man die Lautstärke oder Wiedergabe nicht über die Kopfhörer steuern kann, aber für den Preis ist das auch vollkommen in Ordnung und da die anderen Faktoren alle sehr positiv sind, kann ich damit leben.Da man die Hörer einklappen kann, sind sie sehr flach und eigenen sie sich sehr gut für die Tasche ohne viel Platz in Anspruch zu nehmen.Der Tragekomfort ist sehr gut und angenehm, sie sitzen leicht auf dem Kopf ohne zu stören.Verwendung beim SportFür den Sport wurden mir im Geschäft keine Kopfhörer empfohlen, da man durch das Material sehr schwitzt und sie außerdem keinen guten Halt haben. Ich trage sie vor allem beim Krafttraining, dazu eignen sie sich meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Sie sind sehr leicht, sitzen aber fest. Unter der Hörern schwitzt man tatsächlich, was meiner Meinung nach aber nicht schlimm ist. Auch zum Joggen trage ich die Hörer, was auch super klappt, auch da halten sie recht gut, eher problematisch wäre für mich das Klappern beim schnellen Laufen, aber selbst das ist nicht tragisch.FazitIch liebe diese Kopfhörer und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Für den Preis sind sie unschlagbar !Top Qualität, top Design, für mich einfach perfekt.
