Fabulous Mattress, after several years of sleepless uncomfortable nights, I am finally getting a good nights sleep without back pain.
My previous mattress was not old and very expensive, but far too soft, so my body wasn’t supported. When this mattress arrived I sat on it and my first thoughts were omg this is so hard. But upon my first nights sleep I found it to be firm but so supportive and comfortable, and the price was excellent, especially with 1/3 off. Very pleased with our new mattress. Delivery was prompt and efficient, and as promised we were phoned 30 minutes before delivery. The mattress was put onto the bed and all packaging materials removed. The mattress is on the firm side which is just what we wanted. Would recommend.

The quality on arrival was excellent, as expected from a long established manufacturer with a super delivery service who also took away my pair of old mattresses. Sturdy bed, comfy medium-firm mattress
Purchased a Silentnight bed and medium-firm mattress from thinkassemble.co.uk and the overall experience has been very positive, with the frame feeling sturdy and the mattress delivering excellent comfort and support. As a back-and-side sleeper, the medium-firm feel has been ideal for spinal alignment and pressure relief, which has helped resolve lingering back pain since the switch.
One minor snag: the pre-drilled holes on one side didn’t line up with the headboard, so the installer had to drill the opposite side to secure it, leaving four visible holes at the end of the bed. It’s a cosmetic issue rather than a functional one, but worth noting for future buyers.
Despite that, the combination of a sturdy base and a supportive medium-firm Silentnight mattress has provided reliable comfort for mixed sleeping positions, and would be recommended for similar sleepers.

A surprise sprung!
I was in dire need of a new mattress as the one that came with the bed I found had no support at the sides and as a consequence I always felt that I was about to fall out of the bed. Right on cue I saw the advertisement for this mattress and thought it would fit the bill perfectly. Now I have a great nights sleep and a bonus less pain in my back. So full marks Silentnight, it’s a winner for me.

The quality of the base was much better than what I was expecting. Good construction and hard “bottom” inside the ottoman. The mattress is unfortunately firmer then I expected. The mattress is also very heavy.

The medium to firm mattress was too hard for my back. It felt like there was no give in it even though I left an impression in the mattress after the first night and I’m only 8.5 stones! It’s a beautifully made item but had to swap it out for the mattress on the spare bed. I hope the Xmas guests fare better!

Natural properties. More firm than medium.
I’ve had a really expensive Sealy mattress for 8 years which had a deep cool gel topper layer. From research I’ve learned that it’s the toppers on such mattresses which always sag first. I even bought a thick feather and down topper but it made it too soft. I was waking up aching from head to toe every morning recently so decided I’d go for this one on the basis of its natural fibres and medium firm support. For the money, this is a great supportive mattress. No more sweats and proper sleep with the right support. Now, I don’t care for these tufted button things on mattresses because you do feel them. This mattress keeps you cool because of the wool properties and it’s more firm than medium. I’ve put the feather and down topper on it recently because of these tufted button things and it offers a more medium firm feel rather than too firm. It’s a quality mattress and the delivery guys were brilliant. Unpacked it and took all the rubbish and the old mattress away as planned. In fact, they came earlier than the slot but called first and it was fine. Very very pleased. I hope the mattress lasts.
