Did not work for me
Wanted to try these as normal ear buds struggle to stay in. Unfortunately, a bit fiddly to get in and the sound was just not loud enough in anything other than a quiet room, although did stay in ear well, and sound quality was OK. Did not work for me, returned.

These are very comfortable and nice fit. The 2 negative sides are 1- the sound isn’t very impressive and 2- the touch operations aren’t responsive enough. Other than that, they are good

Bought the open air as they’re more discreet and easier to carry around.

Ultimately comfy earphones
Shokz have a lot of experience with bone conduction tech and it shows in these earphones that use similar tech. These don’t intrude into the ear canal and hence super comfortable for extended use (and does not cause ear wax buildup or other issues coming up in-ear sets). They sound quite good (punchy, clear, not tinny ) and can go quite loud. Fantastic around-the-ear wings that keep it firmly fixed even when exercising. Great buy overall.

Maybe okay if you don’t sweat
I’m disappointed that I have to give a negative review because I was hopeful that these earphones would be better than my cheaper Sound core ones, which have proved to be unreliable. Unfortunately there are 2 major flaws. Unlike the Sound core they are not adjustable so unless your ear shape/size fits the mold then you will not get the best listening experience. But more of a serious issue is that sweat sends them haywire. The first time that I tried them when out jogging they were initially ok but then they started bleeping and the volume increased to maximum without me touching them. I stopped and tried to lower the volume on my phone but it wouldn’t let me. Really weird. Googled the problem when I got home and found that it’s a common fault. So if you don’t sweat and have the ideal earshape then they may be fine for you. Sadly, it’ll be a refund for me.

Fatally flawed, waste of money
Great quality but with a fatal flaw: if the case goes missing they become obsolete and the company wont sell a charging case separately and try to get you to buy a whole new set. I will never buy Shokz again

Shoks Open it Air
I bought these for running outside, so I could listen to music and still hear my surroundings. They work well fot that task.
The touch controls aren’t very intuitive. If you want to skip and go back you have to adjust it on the app, but then you can’t control the volume.
The call quality and build are good.
3.5 stars.

My wife loves them. They are perfect for the gym running etc. they stay in place and with them been shokz there brilliant quality and you can here all the traffic etc around you whilst still enjoying your music.

Got these with a good discount and I’m happy with the price I paid. They get a bit uncomfortable with prolonged use and you need the shokz app to get the best sound out of them, which is a bit frustrating.
