These phones function very well, lots of scope to tune them to to your own preferences of sound, the ear cushions are very soft and comfortable, they are more bulky than my older phones but you soon adjust to that because i don’t find them heavy at all. Outside noise from your surroundings are banished.Initial battery charging is about 16 hours but that is to be expected in order to fully charge the batteries, after that the charging time is very good, depending on the state of charge the batteries need. I have only used them for about 4 hours to date in one sitting, also I can go right down to the bottom of my garden, {about 50ft.} without any loss of quality of sound.I am very pleased with my purchase.

I received my new headphones, a good weight feels and looks well made, good material s used, well packaged and instructions very easy to follow, a little worried that they wouldn’t connect to my older TV, (new TV) waiting on the sidelines, but not a problem, plug everything in and press button s and all done, charging was not a problem and the difference between the new and old was quite wide sound quality very good, easy of use very good, and able to change settings for films or drama perfect, the one problem I have always has been charging after use BUT it is very quick, and straight forward, you get a good long use before you need to charge again, they fit for me very comfortable, no rubbing or falling off if you look down or pick something up from the floor, a good distance of use, not fully tested yet but will get around to that, so I recommend, I Have ONE little niggle the volume could be set a little higher for my music, I know can damage your earing and there has to be a cut off number, this is the only downside for me, so far they have beaten my other three sets in quality and use a good set so far.

Love them.really great for low bass music.do just as great for all tv especially films.only issue is the second setting on surround sound is not great it feels fake.all in all if your looking for a decent all round headphones,these are a great choice

Excellent sound though better without the surround functions which just seems like echos, but that’s just me. Bass for days even in standard mode. Very easy to setup and use and comfortable. I got an optical splitter so sound can be played through speakers and the headphones when I don’t want to disturb the neighbours.

Easy to set up, sound quality is good for me and using the supplied connections others could still watch tv listening to the speakers. When alone speakers are off and I am immersed in surround sound!

These headphones are great for movie listening and the surround setting is surprisingly effective. I would only recommend if you can use the digital optical connection though, because I find the analogue connection produces either annoying loudness compression or hiss and hum.

HDMI arc from Fire Cube to Soundbar to TV.3 Think Assemble fire cube, Ethernet to router, HDMI arc to Soundbar, optical to TV.4 DVD Player, HDMI to TV5 YouView set top box, Ethernet to router, HDMI to TV6 Sennheiser RS 175 Headphones to TV, Sony SoundbarThe headphones are HDMI arc connected to soundbar and TV. Optical connected to TV. Simple really.So I can watch/listen to TV, via; Freeview (BritBox mainly), Think Assemble Prime 4K, Netflix 4K, DVD HD, All the apps through Think Assemble Prime Ethernet to router. The Fire Cube does the HDMI arc so it links to most TV needs in 4K HDR. The headphones just switch from HDMI arc to Optical. DVD HD into TV via HDMI not arc.Sound quality is brilliant. I am no professional sound expert but surround sound, Bass, Vocals are all very powerful and clear. I Love the fact I can get great sound late through the night with no disturbed neighbours. All the above devices can be heard normally or with the press of a button go silent to anybody not wearing my RS 175 Sennheiser. Comfortable adjustable headphones, don’t get any drop out in my house nor in the garden. Highly recommend.BTW: I use 8K HDMI cables just to make sure, Good quality Optical. It carries all the bandwidth I need. I also use unlimited Fibre Optic 400kbps. Hope this helps others worried about connections but want the Cinema Rumble.
