Mattress nice but service awful
Although ordering through thinkassemble.co.uk was easy, the delivery of this mattress was poor. The mattress was in a thick plastic wrapping, once we had got the mattress on the divan base the whole base end of the mattress was wet, with visible stain marks. I tried numerous times calling thinkassemble.co.uk customer service to speak to someone about this and even requested 4 callbacks.to date still no has called me. Only by chance I had an email from Sealy who provided the mattress and I managed to arrange a replacement through them. They arranged for a replacement and re delivered a week later.

So far so good. It’s hard to tell if there are going to be issues within the first few weeks. Hopefully this mattress lasts many years, if it doesn’t I will be sure to come back and update the review.
The quality of the mattress felt ok. It’s quite a firm mattress so surprised at other comments saying it’s not firm. I had some pains the first day because I’m used to sleeping on a softer mattress but am enjoying it now after using it for a couple of weeks.
I had a look at budget mattresses from John Lewis, Argos, dreams and ikea and found this one to offer best value for money- it’s taller and offers edge support which for the price is better than others in this range.
Delivery was fine, I checked to see if the mattress was wet like another review said but did not have that issue.

Not good for my bad back.
I have a bad back so hoped that the Sealy ortho firm mattress would help. First impressions were not great as it seemed to be more medium than firm, after sleeping on it for a week I was waking up with a very painful lower back so arranged to return it. In summary not for me, probably fine if you dont have a bad back but if you do then just be aware its not really ‘firm’

Ideal replacement for our old mattress. Firm as I wanted & the overall depth is more than I realised, but all in all great buy. Highly recommend. Super supportive for your back. We were unsure which one to buy as so much choice on the market, really pleased with our final decision.

Firmness Falls Short, but Stellar Customer Service
Two weeks ago, I purchased the Sealy Ortho Plus Lovell mattress, which was advertised as firm. However, after using it for the past two weeks, I found it to be only slightly firmer than the regular Simba mattresses. Therefore, I am rating it 3 stars. On a positive note, I had to reschedule the delivery, and the customer service at both thinkassemble.co.uk and the delivery partner was excellent.
