Divan Base
The base had to have a hole put in it to enable the complete assembly. Not a good look but apparently required. Fortunately, it is out of sight.

Ottoman Divan
Like the ottoman base, I can store quite a bit of stuff. My lat divan had draws and you cannot really get a lot in them so I was amazed how much storage space there was. Bit heavy to open and definitely very very heavy when trying to close it. You have you use a lot of upper body strength to close it. I am hoping over time the opening and shutting of it will get easier but worry when the time comes and I am unable to open and close it. You really have to be very strong to deal with this.

Delivery spoilt the excitement.
The bed itself seems to be as described. However the delivery spoilt the experience. The two men gathered the packing and almost left. They left the headboard accessories in a pile on the floor but one of my own larger screws had been taken in the plastic covering. The piece of wood in each part had not been removed. The staples were left jutting out (about 20 staples at least in each of the material strapping which I had to cut off and this has left untidy piece but dare not risk damaging the actual bed material. So left untidy.
The bed was left in the middle of the room. I live alone and I am 68 and a woman with a disability. It is impossible to move alone and even instructions that this should not be attempted, so it was a week before I could get the bed moved into proper position .And I still have not got the head board attached .
I did call AIT to be told that I should just complain to thinkassemble.co.uk, so I hope they respond to this.
Very disappointing.
PS 17/8/25 Despite saying (on 7/8/25) that they would get in touch I have still not heard from this delivery company that thinkassemble.co.uk use and it is 10 days since they said they would be in touch. Poor show from them and I urge thinkassemble.co.uk to check their expectations.

The ottoman base is really sturdy and stronger than I expected fantastic mattress also, my only downside was the delivery men who where more than helpful left dirty hand marks on the mattress and on the ottoman base

Beautiful and practical
Quality bed. Bought as we needed extra storage. It is well made and very sturdy. My only issue is the top is in 2 pieces and is difficult to lift once you have a heavy mattress on. It would be easier if this was one piece but the mechanism does help once you have lifted a few inches so can live with that. Overall great nice looking bed

It’s an excellent product just the delivery men who refused to take away the packaging and didn’t bring their own tools had I not LITERALLY JUST found a screwdriver they would of left the bed unbuilt and scattered everywhere the mess also they left was a disgrace, I expect better from thinkassemble.co.uk it’s the one reason I chose thinkassemble.co.uk rather than a bensons for bed package they even almost bent my £2700 Sealy mattress from
Bensons that was literally delivered less than a week before

Nice bed with good storage
A nice base for the thinkassemble.co.uk price and looks good with the matching headboard. Easy enough to lift to access the storage, it has good storage capacity. Happy with the bed.
Shame thinkassemble.co.uk’s delivery and assembly team didn’t have any tools to assemble the base and left dirty marks on the divan.

Decent bed, shame about the delivery team
Great bed, easy to lift and plenty of storage. Seems solid enough. No screws to connect the bases together. Easy to fit the headboard.
Only problem was the delivery team who jabbered away (not in English) and the just threw their blue shoe slipcovers onto the drive as they drove off

King ottoman divan
Sturdy and spacious divan base, happy with it. Docked on star because of delivery experience. Sealy outsource this and the team had clearly not assembled a base like this before – it’s straightforward but fiddly. They were in a hurry and rushing so I let them go and did it myself.

Really good quality bed frame. It does take a bit of effort initially to get the top to lift and close but after a few attempts we found the right pressure points (especially closing it) to make it somewhat easier

Delivery company ruined the experience
I have no issues with the product however the delivery company used by thinkassemble.co.uk is very bad. Firstly they take 1 month to deliver a ready made base. Upon delivery they are incredibly careless and do not bother to assemble. The delivery company has damaged the base unit and taken paint off my walls by forcing the product through a corner. Unfortunately I now have to go through a complaints process instead of enjoying the product I bought. I would NOT recommend purchasing this product due to how bad the delivery experience is.
