Takes a little practice for perfect results
Takes a little practice to find the best setting for your favourite coffee and at first I was a little worried I would not use it enough, but now after a couple of weeks I have found the perfect settings for me and use it every day and it really does make lovely coffee. Easy to clean and very impressive to look at. Full fat and semi skim milk works really well and froths up nicely. Soya and Almond milk do tend to curdle unless you purchase a special Barista milk alternative. Really pleased with the temperature strip on the included milk jug making your coffee just the right temperature.

Fantastic results
Magnificent machine. If you like your coffee and you want a Barista quality coffee, this machine will help you delivery as close to a professional result as possible. Does take a few trials ti understand how the machine works and how to get certain results. It’s worth watching Sage videos on YouTube for guidance. I use the double walled filter for the extra thick creama. Quality freshly roasted beans are essential.

Bought it as a Christmas present for my hubby on a recommendation from a friend who is a coffee fanatic & trained barista. Hubby loves it, great machine and simple enough for me to use as well. Temp measure on the jug means we both get our perfect latte. Highly recommend. Also I shopped around & it was Black Friday and thinkassemble.co.uk still came out around £80 cheaper than anywhere else.

Takes time to set up to get best results. Somewhat trial and error and hence initially uses a lot of beans in doing so. Worth watching online videos as manual useless. Noisy grinder. Inconsistent creame from coffee.

Well made, looks great, sturdy, easy to use and clean. Makes great coffee! Excellent price and delivery from thinkassemble.co.uk. Had originally bought a different brand fully automatic bean to cup coffee machine from another retailer, but returned it and bought this instead. I am so happy I did! I would recommend this Sage semi automatic espresso machine. Lots of tips online re how to get the best out of it.

Makes a great coffee
This is just about as good as it gets to make a reliably good Expresso coffee. Takes a bit of trial and error to get the grind and dose right but with the help from the guide manual you end up with a really good coffee. The pressure gauge is key to getting this right. If it doesn’t reach the designated level, you’ve got the grind and or dose wrong. This is where the trial and error comes in. Not a fully automatic bean to cup machine but at a fraction of the cost, this more hands on manual machine is much better value for money.

Fantastic coffee machine! Batista style coffee at your finger tips. Can be a bit noisy and the grind amount doesn’t seem to change much but I think the key is the tampering.
Milk frother and jug is brilliant with temperature gauge on it. We couldn’t be without.

The milk jug doesn’t work and when I rang about it I was told I’d have to return the whole machine for a refund and then buy it again online as I couldn’t exchange it for a working one because I’d paid with PayPal.

Just need to be mindful of the automatic grinder, as it tends to grind more than you need. So you have to keep your eye on it.

Excellent espresso with the proper effort
As with every other machine, you won’t get best results out of the box.
It will make very nice espresso as long as you can spend the time to adjust it and fine tune it for your favourite beans.
You’ll be rewarded If you are keen to spend the time to do it right.

Stylist Machine needs to cure faults
I bought this machine as my son had one and I liked how it worked-however mine has been returned to thinkassemble.co.uk as it is leaking water out of the back into the drip tray . I noticed this after 2 weeks as drip tray always filling up with water. I see online others had same problem. Very disappointing as hassle to return and wait for a refund. I will try another one but its an expensive machine & good brand to be carrying faults IMO

Lovely machine
Wonderful machine. Looks good and makes a good cup. It took us a while to get the grind coarseness right, as that impacts the pressure and ‘Espresso range’ – so the default settings might need playing with depending on the quality of beans you use.
Only negative is that it’s slightly messy, but I’m probably nitpicking
