Got these nibble sticks for my gerbil who’s big into nibbling, but unfortunately (apart from sniffing them) she has not touched any of these. I am not sure whether it could be due to the paint or the smoothness of the surface that is deterring her from these, but she seems to prefer rougher textures when it comes to wooden chew toys, ultimately favouring good old empty toilet paper rolls.Personally, I think these nibble sticks look very nice and help brighten up the gerbil tank with their bright colours. They are quite small in size (averaging 6 centimetres in length) however, and I think perhaps my gerbil would like them more if they had a rougher, more natural texture.In conclusion: I like them more than my gerbil, and as they are for my gerbil (not me), I will not be purchasing these again.Please let me know if you found my review helpful by indicating below. I bought these for my rats and they absolutely love them. They are the perfect size for them to carry around, hide and then chew to pieces. They do end up looking a bit rough but do last longer than you would think. My girls are picky chewers, I don’t know what these are flavoured with, but my girls can’t get enough, and will steal them from each other. I have bought 2 packs so far and will definitely be buying more as these are great for keeping my ratties teeth ground down and healthy, and are excellent value for the price.

Rabbits throw these about. Even our aggressive chewer couldn’t chomp them down. Three stars as pointy bits really sharp; also Round one choke hazard if child or dog/ cat gets hold of it.

My two male rats LOVE nibbling these. They also like chucking them around the cage at 2am….I’ve go two on the go right now that have lasted over a month, which is pretty good, and still have substantial nibbliness left in them.Good chew toys are essential for ratties – and these fit the bill.

Give your hamster a surprise 🙂 Our Syrian is quite old now at 2 years old and it’s getting difficult to keep life interesting for him, plus I’m trying to tempt him with chews to help keep his teeth trim now he’s getting older. As the reviews on these suggested they were a hit with hamsters I thought I’d try them. They probably aren’t the healthiest chews in the world, with their fruity flavours, but he’s not going to swallow it and our hamster ignores most wood or chewy things. So I popped the carrot in the cage while I went to fill his water bottle and it was gone when I came back ha ha! Our slow little old guy had speeded up! He had nipped out and nabbed it and it’s now in his house. Whether he will actually chew it or not is another matter, but it livened his day up.
