Really pleased. Very neat, small radio. Very easy to set up initially, as the DAB stations scan through automatically. You just press a preset number for 2 secs and its stored. It picked up lots of stations. The FM tuning took longer as my reception is quite poor so needed lots more fine tuning, easily done but time consuming. The buzzer alarm sound has a nice tone, but is sufficiently loud enough to wake me up without jarring me. The clock has three brightness levels. I leave it on high as on auto I can’t see it at night. The illumination is a soft blue and doesn’t light up the whole room. The only slight negative is the buttons on top are small, and I needed glasses to see some of the symbols but once its set up this is almost irrelevant. Superb radio.

I bought this because the dimmer on my previous (very old) Roberts clock radio had stuck on “bright” – which is very bright!!It’s not expensive but is an excellent piece of kit – it tells the time and plays the radio – sometimes at the same time!!On a serious note it’s easy to use – I managed to set it up without needing to refer to the instructions. The alarms (you can set more than 1) are easy to disable and re-enable (unlike my now broken alarm!). The dimmer is dynamic/automatic which is great. Another new feature (for me) is the ability to limit the volume that the alarm goes up to so for those days you aren’t around and you forget to switch the alarm off it isn’t going to hit max volume.For any audiophiles reading the sound is fantastic (relatively speaking) for a device with such a small single speaker.The display is clear and, as already mentioned, is always at the ‘right’ brightness. I haven’t looked into getting different info to show – as in the stuff you get from DAB broadcasts, such as current song etc. but I will one day (I’m assuming it’s there!!)

This is a great clock radio. The sound is good for its size. It is easy to set station presets. The alarm is easy to set up with a quick look at the manual.

For the non-technical person this radio is a breeze to set up. It is very compact and for me it ticks all the boxes. I recommend it.
