This is brilliant, easy to fit & does exactly what it says. This was a very much needed ring accessory, well worth the money, extremely happy with this product

Purely functionality, these are great and provide an easy way to wire into mains. It was very easy to do so, I simply found a spot near an internal socket, fitted a switched fuse spur next to it (with 3a) and then spurred off that into this.However, these have a major-ish flaw you should be wary of. Even with the little plastic “weather” cover, this is not sufficient if you install this in a place where it is likely to get rainfall. What happens is if you get sufficient rain that can get around this cover, you can get water seep into the USB C transformer and cause that to fail. I went through 2 of these before realising.The solution we have done is to get a camera rain cover above to protect this therefore. Another I guess you could do is silicone around the weather cover and around the USB C connection to make sure, but I preferred putting a cover above.It may not impact many people, but it did us.

Need when replacing hardwired spot light. A bit bulky but works well. Shame Ring doesn’t make a specific model for hardwired installation

Bought with the Ring spotlight security camera for our garage. Not cheap but having the camera hardwired means that I don’t have to faff about with changing batteries every so often.Recommend this item for added peace of mind.

Why did you choose this product over others?:The spot light camera (hard wired ) that was fitted by the electrician. It worked for few days. But later on, it broke and that’s what Ring Technician told me. Don’t buy this product unless you want to have the same experience like me.I have multiple Ring cameras (battery + hard wired) and they all are working perfectly except spot light camera plus.

もともと使っていたカメラ付きセンサーライトが有線だったので、その配線を再利用すべく購入しました。施工に難しいこともなく、難なく取り付けられました。注意点として、施工時にシーリング材が必要です。持ち合わせていない場合は、同時に購入することをお考えください。(コーキングガンも同時に買ったほうが良いです)。
