An Excellent Good Value Alarm System
Fairly easy to install and set up with basic DIY and smart phone skills. The external siren being the main element that requires a little extra thought and care regarding its positioning/installation and power connection option (If required). If you want the external siren to illuminate at night you do need an external power supply.
The app is excellent being straight forward and intuitive to use. It has all the options and facilities that I required and help text is available should it be necessary. The parts appear to be of good quality and to date have been totally reliable. I consider the alarm to be of excellent value and I am delighted with the purchase

BRILLIANT HOUSE ALARM
This piece of kit is brilliant. Had it installed now for about 6 months. Very easy to install yourself. For the outdoor siren i bought a solar panel for it on as it was too much work running a fixed power cable to it. The battery in it has been completely full the entire time. It took a bit of getting used to with the door sensors and sometimes forgetting the alarm was armed and we would set the alarm off quite regularly until i realised we could set schedules on the ring app. All the battery levels on all the sensors and key pad have barely moved since installing them. This is a great kit to have and very well laid out within the app i would highly recommend this to anyone.

Good upgrade over Generation 1
Second Alarm purchase and happy as the first time. I have a Generation 1 Ring Alarm system at my home and purchased this Generation 2 for my elderly father. I love how the contact sensors have gotten smaller and the motion sensors and now have little buttons on them to assist with failed setups and little LED rings around them. The Base station is the same between generations but the Keypad is improved, smaller in size but better laid out, it is now square opposed to rectangular, buttons are bigger and mode function buttons are better placed.

Easy to set up and integrates well with our existing ring doorbell and internal security camera. Good value and seems very robust without any false alarms after several months use. Also integrates well with the app for remote monitoring and control.

This is the 2nd Ring security alarm I have purchased. Both of them for my daughter’s houses. Both the 8 piece and the 12 piece work exceptionally well, and are easy to fit. I looked around at the prices, and COSTCO always gave the best deals.
