Great CCTV system
Brilliant bit of kit. Just updated our 5 year old system and this CCTV system has so many extras such as privacy mask so you can block out other properties, smart detection for cars/ humans/animals which you can turn on push notifications for also it has spotlights you can dim and have on timer or that come on when motion is detected. Also you can schedule cameras so you don’t get push notifications at certain times of the day. Picture quality is very good. It comes with 4 18m Ethernet cables but 2 weren’t long enough for where we wanted the cameras so we bought longer outdoor ones off . Very easy to install and set up on mobile phones and tv.

The hardest issue is running the cables. On the whole, the unit is plug-and-play. Boxes were required for the wall-mounted cameras as the connecting and control cable came out of the back of the unit. The camera images are now on my laptop and family phones. There are no issues with the kit supplied which does as offered. Clear pictures, day and night, audio, alarm and spotlight.

Plug the NVR into the monitor first
Once you get the Reolink cameras up and running it is a good system home system without the monthly subscription, but the main challenge is setting it up initially.
I tried to set up the system via the app and was unsuccessful. There was no support line number to call which is really frustrating and this is the main criticism that I have with this system. So after trying many options unsuccessfully from the support chat, I went back to basics and plugged the NVR unit into a monitor and used the mouse provided. This is the step I was missing. I followed the prompts on screen and set the cameras up. When completed I then registered the cameras on the app and everything then started working properly. Once it is up and running on the the app you no longer need the monitor plugged in.
The cameras produce a good picture that is easy to play back and you can view anytime with little lag.

Very easy to set-up and picture quality is really good. Night vision with the spotlight on is super full colour. Reviewing events is Very easy too.

Reolink CCTV
Excellent piece of kit for the money, i have fitted systems 5 x the price and they do nothing more than this kit does. The picture quality is superb and even the sound is good, great features all at a bargain price. I would liked to have it in black to go with the outside of the property but unfortunately don’t offer this though Reolink do do it. Simple to set up and everything is in the kit you’ll need.

Excellent cctv system.
A home rather than commercial setup with some limitations such as weird disk drive size limits.
But you’d have to spend at least double to get anything this good elsewhere.

Excellent up to date CCTV kit. Simply needs some forward preparation & a ladder if you’re installing in the soffits. App good although took me a while to work out how to playback. Probably just me. A feature to be aware of – records everything in one hour segments not just shorter times when movement. Overall very positive

Great system for the money.
By far the best CCTV for the money you can buy. The camera quality exceeds many other providers including Hikvison.
Really simple to set up, remote access is a 2 second job and sharing the system with different users is simple. Reviewing event on a phone or PC is simple with events marked in the timeline.

Estámos muy contentos con esta nueva cámara que hemos decidido comprar, fácil la instalación y el micrófono es espectacular, imágenes son muy claras, y el sistema de cambiar a color para el día y la noche es adicional que no sabía que se podía con ésta CCTV. Yo lo recomiendo.

Excellent PoE CCTV system.
So far really impressed. This was purchased to replace a swann system which failed. The system has 8 dome cameras all of which had the same base lay out as my current dome cameras. This mean no requirement to drill any holes. just a direct replacement one for one.
once installed, I used the on screen setup on the unit and configured all the settings, all of which were intuitive and easily understood. The cameras were all detected automatically. When configuring the cameras (whats detected and sensitivity of detection) theres a setting to copy all the settings to all cameras which made the process really quick. The picture quality is excellent and really clear night or day. The play back feature again is easily to use. My 10 year old daughter has been using it to watch the local wildlife from our garden. She noted that theres a quick reference on the playback sider of a white dot which when the slider goes over gives and icon of either a car, person or animal symbol. This aids in quick navigation of the recorded footage to select what you want to replay. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone looking to replace or upgrade.
