Good value for money don’t expect big things it does loads of stuff average, just remember it’s a sub £100 multi band radio, for what it is and what it does then yeah 👍🏻

It arrived a day or 2 early. Its a really good radio. Im no expert with HT radios but this one is so easy to use. Watch a couple of youtube videos to help you along. Dont forget to update the software when it arrives. Have Fun 😁

Radio is very low on rx vhf despite all the settings and contacting support it seems they are aware of this issue of deafness and told me if I buy the new model next month they offer me 30 percent off in summary hf poor rx vhf deaf uhf passable r Radtel are aware of this issue with the 950 pro.

Good radio with a spectrum analyser

Pretty cool radio, just like the 880g it is a bit of a learning curve but there’s no doubt that for the price point it is very impressive.
James R. –
great radio with lots of features. not exactly easy to use, good frequency range, very good value.senitive.

On paper, this is a fantastic “shack in a box” radio, and indeed in most respects it is. With the right antenna, reception on 40 and 20m (7 and 14Mhz) is great, although having to manually fine tune is a pain- if you’re reading this Radtel, as LW/MW is essentially a different mode from the rest of the radio, make a firmware change that pushes fine BFO tuning to the rotary enocoder knob). Moving to the “normal” modes, airband reception is fantastic on AM- sensitive, clear and wonderful. Now the downsides – reception on 2m (145Mhz) is terrible. Sensitivity is very poor, being bettered by the whole host of £20-30 dual band HAM handhelds (I’m looking at you TIDradio and Baofeng). The issue is compounded by squelch on this frequency being too high a threshold, even at level 1. Ironically, Tx is good now mic gain has been added, so the bottom line is people can hear you, you just can’t hear them. Radtel, please please fix this. On 430Mhz (70cm), all is well- Tx and Rx are up there with the competition. Then the final feature-CB. Seems OK but not more than this. Tx power on my radio is ~2.2W on FM. What we need is AM and SSB Tx and Rx.Overall, the specs are incredible, but the implementation feels like a beta test. It would be incredible value if everything worked, but without the 2m sensitivity of cheaper sets, the 10W power is essentially wasted. Hopefully this can be dealt with in the next firmware update, but for now this is a no for me. 2E0HVO

Great radio for AM and CB you will require a different ariel air band is amazing can hit repeaters easy from over 30 plus miles away

Great Radio
As a Purchaser of this Product I can tell you after Reviewing it. The Radio is Definitely a Tri Band Radio With Two work modes HF Bands 18MHZ to 54 MHz covering 6M as well on Work Mode 1 and 2m,1.25,70CM On Work mode 2 Now you can Only display on the three VFO bands One work mode at a time. Battery Life its Ok But it really needs a Heavy duty Battery but they are not available Yet! Now the Radio it’s self as some pretty Good features for the Price point and is well worth the buy for a featured Rich Radio. It also comes with GPS and APRS. Sound Quality Great Sound. and Microphone. and Reception is Awesome But Strong signals are much for the Front end if you use an external Antenna.
