Ultimately, they are a functional set of radios for short-range communication, but given the plasticky feel and the limited real-world range, I think they are a bit overpriced for what they actually deliver.

The manual itself covers the comprehensive setting options well but i’ve been using the default.All of this bit is very subjective to location but i’ve been really impressed with the audio quality and the range. I’ve had ‘long range’ walkies before that haven’t got to the end of the road and these have gone way beyond that in a suburban environment with small industrial unit spaces. No majorly tall structures though but they’re got as far i’d practically need them to go and then some. The audio quality obviously drops off as you go further apart, though at my limits it was still clear with minor background noise that was easy to separate from voice. Again this is all with my location use, your mileage will absolutely vary.The reason for the 4 stars is simply because while the casing has been robust the rear clip isn’t spring tensioned and is instead a single plastic piece. It offers a good but not great grip and the bouncing that occurred was because while i thought i had these secured they worked loose and fell, twice. It could be a lot better in that respect and while lanyard loops are on the body none are included.These are the first walkies i’ve been impressed when it comes to range. As noted all very subjective in respect of expectations and location. Just the rear clip that let them down for me, it needs to be stronger, certainly for my use.

Direkt beim einschalten sind auf beiden Geräten die korrekten Frequenzen eingestellt, sodass man direkt eine Unterhaltung beginnen könnte. Aber man hat noch eine Vielzahl an weiteren Kanälen, sodass man in der Theorie auch mit anderen, die sich auf den gleichen Kanal befinden, kommunizieren könnte.Auch machen die Walkie Talkies einen sehr robusten und stabilen Eindruck. Die äußere Umhüllung besteht aus einem stoßfesten Material, was verhindert, wenn eins der Geräte mal zu Boden stürzen sollte, dass dem Gerät dadurch ein Schaden entstehen könnte.Zusätzlich verfügen die Geräte auch über die Möglichkeit, darüber Radio zuhören.Die Geräte werden schnell und einfach in der mitgelieferten Ladestation aufgeladenMit einer vollen Ladung kamen die Geräte bei mir an, bislang musste ich noch keins der Geräte erneut aufladen, somit bin ich auch, was die Qualität des Akkus angeht, mehr als zufrieden damitDeswegen gebe ich sehr gerne meine vollen 5 Sterne und kann meine Empfehlung aussprechen

Ein Netzteil liegt nicht bei, aber ganz ehrlich: Auf dem Boot (Powerbank, USB-Steckdose) ist das für mich eher ein Vorteil als ein Nachteil.Zur Reichweite: Realistisch ist das Ganze deutlich bodenständiger als die beworbenen Fantasiezahlen. Bei Wind, Motorgeräuschen oder wenn man sich bewegt, muss man je nach Empfindlichkeit mit Fehlauslösungen oder abgeschnittenen Wortanfängen rechnen. Für Boot und Outdoor nutze ich deshalb häufiger die klassische PTT-Taste, weil das einfach verlässlicher ist. Das integrierte UKW-Radio hat mich hingegen positiv überrascht: Für Nachrichten oder Musik nebenbei ist das unterwegs wirklich praktisch, gerade wenn man abends irgendwo liegt und kein zusätzliches Gerät dabei haben möchte.Ein Punkt, der mich jedoch ernsthaft nervt, ist das Handbuch.
