I bought this TV to go into an extension, I must say I am extremely impressed by it, I’ve never had a Phillips TV before as I’ve always favoured the likes of LG or Hisense, however my head will be turned in future, the TV is extremely lightweight so it can be mounted to the wall very easily, the initial set up was fast, great amount of apps such as Netflix, Think Assemble etc, the sound quality and picture quality are sharp and crisp, the abolish function is brilliant and makes the tv feel bigger, I’ve had static lights before but the interactive lights add extra excitement when watching movies especially, very good TV at a very reasonable price

This TV was great (especially the amazing Ambilight function) for the just over two months I got to use it. The remote wasn’t the best (very fiddly, especially the button to adjust the volume), but the legs provided are the product’s real achilles heel: no easy to install and far too insubstantial for the size of the TV. Sadly, after about 10 weeks of ownership, my cat managed to tip the TV over, causing terminal damage to the screen (something no warranty will ever cover). If I ever get a replacement with similar legs, I’ll be sure to invest in a more secure third party table-top stand. It’s an expensive lesson to be sure.

I’ve had this Philips for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. I bought it mainly for the Ambilight feature, and it absolutely lives up to the hype.The Ambilight is a game-changer. Watching movies and shows feels like you’re sitting inside the screen rather than just looking at it. The way the colored lights on the back of the TV respond to what’s happening on screen creates this immersive bubble around your viewing area. It sounds gimmicky, but it’s surprisingly effective at drawing you in, especially during darker scenes. Sports and action movies are particularly stunning with it… the dynamic light changes keep things feeling fresh and engaging.Beyond the light show, the picture quality is legitimately impressive for the price. Colors pop without looking unnatural, blacks are deep, and the overall brightness is solid even in a well-lit room. Whether I’m watching 4K content or streaming shows, everything looks sharp and vibrant. You’re getting premium picture quality without the premium price tag that usually comes with it.The mounting options are also flexible enough for different setups. I was able to install it on my wall without any hassle, and there are enough adjustment points that you can angle it how you want. The stand is sturdy too if you prefer that route.

I’ve had a Philips Android TV with Ambilight for years and loved it, so I thought this new one would be perfect for my kitchen — how wrong I was.The TV is surprisingly bulky and sticks out from the wall, even with a slim mount. We only use streaming services, but every time it turns on it insists on going through the live TV setup screen. The software is painfully slow, laggy, and doesn’t even support the full Android app store — just a very limited selection.Picture quality is disappointing too; anything that isn’t in high resolution looks awful, and the upscaling seems to make it worse. Ambilight no longer integrates with Hue lights, which was a big letdown.To top it off, when I connected my Fire Stick, there was no sound at all — I tried every setting and swap HDMI ports with no luck. It’s going back in the box for a return. Avoid this one.

Great TV but I had to get a replacement for mine, only for the same issue to happen again. The picture and sound are amazing, colour vibrant and I love the ambilight effect, but I kept getting intimitent lines appearing on both TVs I received. The menu can be laggy also.
