Dog enjoyed chewing this and playing fetch. Bright colour means it is easy to find. The bit of string lasted 5 minutes but the ball itself is great.

I walk dogs and always have two of these balls with me, and a couple of extra stored in my car. Every single dog I walk (that plays ball) wants this ball and no others. Puppies love them as well. I have given these as Christmas gifts to my clients. One owner told me that she put the gift bag under the tree and her dog immediately went and pulled the ball out of the bag. They love them that much. The ball itself is a soft malleable rubber, easy for them to carry in their mouths. I think it easily carries a scent, so it easier for them to find in tall grasses, etc. It will float in water, but be careful because it can get carried down a stream. The rope will eventually come off when wet. This is fine because it is not needed. With a lot of chewing, a split can occur in the ball. It is still very much usable for throwing, but would keep an eye on it to see if it splits more. None of the dogs use this as a chew toy. Only given to them for the walk and put away when finished.

These rubber dog balls are great, because they are soft and don’t hurt my dogs mouth when he catches them. The rope makes them easy to throw. What I didn’t like is the fact that I couldn’t pick the colour as they are picked at random by the seller. I took a chance and ordered two and ended up with a green and dark purple ball. Absolutely useless, the green one can’t be seen in the grass and the dark coloured one just as bad. Not well thought out by the manufacturer. The two cost £8. Won’t be buying these again.

The ball looks good and is quite bouncy BUT the string came off the ball during our second use, much to the disappointment of our German Shepherd puppy. I would say that the quality of the way the string is attached is poor. My husband was left holding a long piece of string. It is the right size for our dog and is quite chewable, but really disappointing.I have just taken a second ball out with my dog. Despite the fact that we don’t play tug with balls, just fetch the string parted company with the ball on the first throw. Really poor quality. If I could have given zero stars I would have.
