Small but cute and strong

I bought the large blue snake for my miniature Dachshund’s birthday. He loves something he can throw about and also with a good ‘squeak’. The toy has lasted over a week and is still in one piece which is quite rare, however the three squeakers are now dead (some members of the family are probably relieved by their short life!)

Super cute little chick toy. It’s already become Nellie’s favourite – mainly because it has a *very* loud squeak! Too early to comment on longevity but first impression is that it is well-made and sturdy. I particularly like that the toy’s edge is made with a different, stronger material – I definitely think that will make it last longer. And just look at how cute it is!

Firstly, this is my puppy’s favourite toy, so it’s a winner in our household. Pup is only 12 weeks old and isn’t a big breed, so the indestructibility of this toy hasn’t been tested, though it is well-made (except for ONE aspect…) and seems durable in comparison to other soft toys. My pup is teething, and she seems to like the varying textures of the toy. The squeaker is large, feels reassuringly durable and is easy to locate (other toys have tiny squeakers that can be frustrating for pup to find).However, there’s a BIG drawback with this toy. I preface this complaint with the fact it may just be the product I received, however, I don’t have multiple items to test this! The blue furry fabric sheds REALLY easily. Initially I thought it was because it was new, and a little initial shedding is to be expected. But we’re over two weeks in and there’s still constant shedding. Prior to the picture, pup played with the toy for just a few minutes and this is what I collected from the carpet and her mouth. I’ve gone over the toy with a lint remover to dislodge loose bits but upon further play more filaments evidently dislodge. It’s a pain to be picking this bright blue fluff up daily, and is a bit of a flaw for a supposedly indestructible toy!So 3 stars from me as pup loves it but I’m less enamoured!

it lasted not even 24h with a 4 months dachshund puppy
I was hoping this toy would last but my 4 months old dachshund destroyed in less than 24h 🤦🏻‍♀️ it started by plucking the purple fluff and I already thought that was not a good sign. After few hours I saw the black lining in my puppy’s mouth and yep, it was all ripped.So not that invincible or indestructible after all!Very disappointing…

丈夫で長持ち
何年も前に購入後　ワンちゃんの1番のお気に入りで古くなってしまったので新しいのを探していました　作りがしっかりしているので破壊好きのうちの子でも長持ちするのでありがたいです

My 10 year old dog rather likes this noisy snake. It’s very easy for him to get multiple squeaks out of like a strangled organ pipe – consequently, it is now banned from the living room; the toy not the dog :)It’s a well made flat toy with no stuffing, good stitching, but my dog is not a heavy chewer. If you have an energetic puppy this toy may very well drive you completely round the bend 🙂 If you have a friend or grandparent with a dog that bought your toddler a child drum set for Christmas – this is the perfect gift for their canine companion 🙂

Well this is a joke, lasted 5 minutes, it’s hardly like he’s a pit bull! Don’t wast your money, the edges might be strong, but if there’s a squeak in there, there’s alway a way!! EDIT… DO NOT BUY, AFTER I WROTE THIS REVIEW I DISCOVERED THERE WAS TINY BATTERIES THAT HAD COME OUT FROM THE STUFFING!!! I DIDNT KNOW IF MY DOG HAD EATEN ANY AND HAD AN EMERGENCY VET VISIT AT 1IN THE MORNING, A SEDATION AND X-RAY, THANKFULLY HE DIDNT EAT ANY! BUT HE HAD BAD EFFECTS FROM THE ANAEFTHETIC!!!!! I HAVE BROUGHT THIS TO AMAZONS ATTENTION AND THEY ARE WORKING TO GET THE TOY REMOVED FROM THERE WEBSITE BUT ITS GOING TO TAKE TIME TO DO THIS! PLEASE KEEP A WATCH OUT IF YOU HAVE IT! THE BATTERIES WHERE SO SMALL! AND WHERE IN A TINY PACKET OF PLASTIC THAT WAS SLIGHTLY TORN, THANK GOODNESS I NOTICED THEM ON THE FLOOR BEFORE I WAS GOING TO BED PLEASE BE CAREFUL

My dog can destroy ANYTHING, the only toys I’ve ever given him have been the solid Nylon chew toys and he would get through those pretty fast.Feeling guilty, because he adores squeaky toys, I went through the process of buying him a few squeaky toys and supervising him for 2 minutes before he destroyed them, and I had to throw them away. (Literally 2 minutes or less).I discovered a couple of “Tuff” dog toys and they lasted 3 days (only under supervision – about 2 hours a day).Finally, I bought this particular toy as I discovered it through my friend’s dog. I can leave it with him, unsupervised, and he’s had it for about a week now! It’s a miracle!!He has silenced all the squeakers, but he still loves it more than his other toys.The strange life of this toy may be due to the fact that I bought him quite a few soft/squeaky toys in the weeks leading up to this, and the novelty of completely obliterating them has worn off. Not sure.My dog is a Patterdale Terrier – small, but I don’t think this toy would have any issues with a bigger dog if it’s survived my little headcase.Worth the money for damn sure. + no stuffing for the day where he does mangle it up.

I’d had one of these for my old dog, a bullmastiff and she didnt kill it for a while, however this lasted 6 days with my Staffy cross pup who killed all the squeakers within 4 days, then unpicked the stitching on one and one started pulling it apart and eating the fluffy stuff, had to take it away. Poor girl is running out of toys! Lol
