I wish I bought the 7″ but this does the job all the same, easy connection to connected ride cradle for my bmw motorbike, that way you can use your phone through to Carpuride.

Would really recommend this . Easy installation on my s1000xr . Comes with fittings for other bikes as well . But only downfall is it wouldn’t run 3rd party apps

Used for about 3 weeks and the touch screen stopped working about 1/3 of the way up. It otherwise worked OK as an Android Auto mirror.

Fitted straight onto my 1250 gs sat nave preparation mount. One can lock it with the BMW key. It connected easily to my IPhone 15 and helmet intercom. I cannot comment about the weather proofness because it doesn’t rain in Yorkshire now.

This device makes a big difference in how I navigate and control my phone while riding. Before I would ride without having any music or navigation and I would just follow this signs as I didn’t want to get my phone in the rain and install complicated devices on my bike, however this carplay besides that is very efficient to use it is also very easy to install, waterproof and it provides access to different apps, maps and music right from the screen providing a wireless connection so I don’t have to deal with any cables while riding.As soon as I start my bike, it pairs quickly with my phone and it provides a steady connection.I can even connect the carplay with my helmet headset so I can listen to music and hear the navigation instructions without the need of touching my phone or the screen.I have been using it for about a week now and the GPS navigation is accurate with real-time up and it helps me find the best routes and avoid traffic.This is definitely a very useful device that makes my riding more enjoyable and convenient.
