Very sturdy and good quality

Very Good Quality but..
First, I would like to say that my husband is very competent at DIY. He has put together a variety of flat packed or similar storage units, as well as fitted kitchens so knows what he is doing. This storage unit comes in many parts. It takes ages just to check all is there. It is a high-quality product with many great design features, for example metal rods to strengthen it in places to keep it strong. Now that we have finished erecting it, it looks great. HOWEVER, I would think twice about buying such an item again. For those who have attempted to fit one you will know what I am talking about. For others this may be gobbledegook as it is hard to explain. The design is such that there is no construction tolerance. I would say it was difficult to put together in terms of having to put pressure on to hold things in place. In places where things need to be screwed it did not line up. One hole matched the centre of where to place a screw but not further along the line. We had to create new holes in correct places, sometimes moved only by 3mm but would not work had we not done so. We followed the instructions exactly and thought by some minor adjustments we were doing great. Sadly, when we hanged the doors and attempted to shut them, they overlapped by about 4 mm. It fits together so tightly that there is no room for slight adjustment. We had to remove the doors again and at each side where the unit curved round the corner, I had to squeeze or pull outwards at each side as tight as I could. My hubby had to put some screws in underneath to hold it further apart. The alternative would have been to pull the floor apart where it joins in the middle but we didn’t feel that would open the doorway enough. Also, we would be able to see a gap in the floor where water may get in. Effectively this effort made the door opening wider. As such the oblong foot which holds the metal rod, basically the hinge, did not now fit flush as it should. We had to find something else to attach to the rod. Having done all this, the doors still only just close scraping each other and we must give it a shove to shut them. Once closed it is clear to see that there was no tolerance at all in the design. No gaps at all around the doors. Why not make the doors slightly smaller? Why not make the door hinge adjustable so can slide it up down or left to right.? Why not allow some adjustments or tolerance in the door handles and latch? Even after all the effort one door was slightly higher than the other and even putting in a wedge as suggested did not correct it fully. After 2 days of construction, we have a lovely looking storage unit which we can only just close but can cope with it. It is very good quality except for the floor which is in 2 parts and feel would be better if only one part like the roof.

Product is very strong and solid. But thedoor hand screw is too weak, was broken in the first use.

Good quality and fair price. Build is straight forward and relatively simple.
