Difficult to put together
It was difficult to put together. The thick spacer washers have same part number… After finding there’s just not enough thread on long bolts, it’s because 2 of these spacer washers are slightly thinner than the other 2! But not instructed anywhere! Had to dismantle and swap washers over. I managed to fit the hoop board wrong way round too but again instructions don’t say to watch out for this. Board is not staight due to the tensioning/board adjustable height mechanism.
The perspex backboard makes a lot of noise when hit with ball compared to a plastic backboard.
I’m a very competent DIY’er and have full socket set etc… Would not recommend this product

Good quality hoop kit built to last.
This is a good sturdy Hoop kit. It seems well made of good quality material and seems like it will last. The adjustable height mechanism seems fine although not sure how many people would use unless its in a setting other than in a home ie multiple parties using. It can be used in a youth club setting and is robust enough for continuous use. I found it a nightmare to assemble though. I did ask myself a number if time why oh why.. but got their in the end after a few hours. The fact that I tried doing this when the whether in the UK was at its worst was probably not a good idea. Wait for good weather!

Excellent Quality Product
This Basket Ball Hoop was bought for my twelve year old grandson who was keen to help with the assembly which took a couple of hours. A very sturdy, quality piece of sporting kit that him and his friends love playing with.
There are several videos on YouTube showing the product being assembled > found them helpful.

Words can’t cover the trial of building this
This is a very solid piece of kit. My son is a baller in a local club and this has really helped him to train outside of club events.
Be warned: unless you have a degree in engineering and are happy to use 25 days holiday leave to build the thing then this really isn’t for you.
I don’t think I have come so close to hell than the many attempts to build it. On this basis it would be a hard no from me despite how good it is now finally erected and in use.

Good hoop
I bought this basketball hoop for my 15 and 12 years old boys. We assembled it together and took us about 2 hours. It is easy to assemble but it needs proper tools. My boys loved it.

Excellent hoop, very fast delivery
Excellent basketball hoop and seems very sturdy and well made, glad I researched and went for the Lifetime brand. Definitely the best I could hope for for £200 only. Slightly complicated assembly but nothing I couldn’t handle, took me probably 3/4 hours by myself, would have been less with some help.

Robust and a lot of fun
Great basketball hoop, very robust – huge! Was concerned after reading reviews about difficulty building it, but it took two of us 2 hours and was relatively straightforward. Think they’ve adapted design a bit as well to make it easier.
Son loves it and spends hours out there playing!!

Great value for money compared to others for sale elsewhere. Took approx 2 hours to build, I did need another pair of hands for a few bits. Definitely worth watching YouTube videos to help too. The product is really well made and arrived quickly. Easy system to adjust height.

For us, it is difficult to assemble this, you need to buy some tools by yourself, the model number of each accessory is in the manual, but the model number is not written on the package of the accessory, you need to guess by yourself. Also, need to buy 140kg of sand to fit into the plastic box at the bottom through two tiny holes, I didn’t find the right tool, it was an absolute nightmare to do the job, I didn’t find the right tool. I give the product itself 5 stars and the difficulty of installation 3 stars.
