I didn’t think I’d get excited over a phone holder! But this is excellent. Ever since mobiles first had maps & sat nav I’ve used phone holders. Most would eventually fall off the vent or unstick from the window/dashboard – especially in summer. I have literally tried most types, shop bought, phone store bought, online after research, all failed eventually, half way through your journey your phone would ping off the holder or the whole thing would fall off – normally into your foot well! This one however is amazing, first it actually fits the vent, my car has quite far back vent pillars, most hook like holders where not long enough, this one however even has more length than I needed. Both parts are very secure & can be adjusted separately. The magnet is strong, absolutely no movement or sliding. The amount of tilt is adjustable & this means I can use a privacy screen protector & still see the satnav directions. It holds the phone high so you are not looking down away from the road, but it is compact enough so it does not block your view. In my car I can still see the radio/info screen controls too, which some holders obscured the view of.I am so glad I read the reviews & took a chance on this one, even when it seemed more expensive compared to others.My advice is to try it, with Think Assembles amazing return policy you have nothing to lose, but I would be very surprised at people needing to return this. 100% recommend.

Works just as it should and holds my iPhone 12pro firmly in place where I can see it clearly without taking my eyes too far from where I should be concentrating. I can also charge it using a separate cable I have while using a navigation app which normally eats battery capacity. Simple to put together and fit on the air vent and stays firmly in place. Very pleased with it.

Holds tight, Phone not going anywhere.
The vent clip works great. It uses a screw on mechanism to clamp onto one fin of the vent and an extended base to help with stability. The magnet is very strong, especially compared to some other charging docks that I have tried. Phone is nice and stable and holds in whatever position I set it to.
