Check mounting instructions.
Unobtrusive design, easy activation after removing battery tab and single test button. Slightly disappointing that CO and smoke Voice messages have an American accent. The installation instructions state “To obtain aesthetic alignment of the alarm with the hallway or wall, the “A” line on the mounting bracket should
be parallel with the hallway when ceiling mounting or horizontal when wall mounting”. I don’t think this is correct and recommend double checking alignment before drilling holes.
