Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son in law who already had larger JBL portable speakers.He wanted something for when travelling, compact and easy to carry this fits that bill.Fully tested on Christmas day, the quality of the sound from this diminutive speaker was quite remarkable. Not tinny, good bass and good volume.With a built in rechargeable battery it was going most of the day without needing recharging.No issues connecting to iPhones by bluetooth it proved a big hit.

Fantastic Speaker for £30. I’ve never heard such a powerful, clear tone, bass, sound come out of such a small speaker. Currently own a selection of Bose products including a large Bose S1 Pro and JBL studio monitors so quality sound is very important in our household. This JBL Go 4 is surprisingly perfect our open plan large living room/dining room. We still haven’t played it at the full volume. The sound projects from both front and back of this pocket sized speaker.

Love the style & colour , I feel like you don’t get as much time out of it as it says but that might be just me? I haven’t accurately checked. It’s loud enough to be heard from one end to the other in a flat but I will say it’s not very bassy. It is waterproof and can tell by the material it’s very sturdy and strong.

This is a great little speaker that has very good sound quality considering it’s size. It lasts for a good chunk of time on one charge – at least 5 hours of play time.Waterproofing seems to be problem free – it has got wet a few times in the shower (albeit not drenched) and comes away unscathed.It’s easy to connect to devices and the volume controls are very simple. The only issue I have with it is skipping songs can be hit or miss with the triangle button – it’s one press to pause and two to skip to the next song but it often misses a double press with wet fingers.Other than that I have no complaints. Well worth the expense.

Upgraded from the Go 2, Its loud and clear for the size, don’t expect a lot of bass though but definitely worth the purchase. The colour is also really nice.
