My previous portable speaker no longer held a charge so I’d been looking for a suitable replacement for a while. I tried a couple of cheaper BT speakers, but the sound quality and lack of base was awful. They also lacked volume. Then I was at a friends and they were using one of these – I ordered one the following night.Simply put it’s a great BT speaker for the price. I use it everywhere – in my office, when travelling and in dance studios. For its size it’s loud and has a great base and the quality of the mid and high-tones is excellent.The construction is rugged – the only vulnerable bits are the woofer outputs on the sides, but they’re recessed so fairly well protected. My unit has been dropped a couple of times to no harm.Battery life is reasonable – I’ve used it on long car journeys without problem. The manufacturer’s boast 12h. That seems a little high compared to my experience, but I suspect volume levels play a part.Note there’s no option to connect with a jack – it’s BT only. The only lead it can take is the USB-C charging lead.Would I buy it again? Hell yes! Best I’ve come across in this price range.

Its main purpose is to let you tweak the sound with a basic but effective EQ. I gave the bass a tiny nudge up, and it was perfect. There’s no unnecessary bloat; it’s easy to use and does its job.Honestly, I can’t find a single significant fault. It’s the complete package: stunning audio, extended battery life, multiple connectivity options, rugged design, modern features, and ultimate portability. An absolute five-star product that continues to set the standard.
