Allowed me to locate the transformer for my ring doorbell pro in the location where the bell chime was located. The mains cable and cable to the doorbell push was located there and therefore allowed me to install the ring doorbell without any rewiring. Only comment is that it’s quite expensive for an empty plastic box !

Designed for the Ring DIN Rail transformer so everything fits correctly as expected. Very easy to install and looks great.

This was used as an enclosuser for the Navaris transformer for a Eufy 340 video doorbell and fitted perfectly. Maybe a little expensive at £16,but very happy

Considero sí o sí necesaria esta caja de protección si adquieres el ring videodoorbell wired y piensas conectarlo a la corriente directa junto con el transformador (Din Rail), ya que ayuda a proteger el transformador y le brinda mejor estética, sería ideal si la vendieran junto con el transformador y no como otra compra aparte, pero bueno… es el negocio

I have installed a few of these, they are great when the transformer is on show in the hall, when replacing an existing mains doorbell. Prior to these being available you had to either have an ugly box on the wall or at least a deep white pattress box with a blank plate on the front & then the transformer wasn’t easy to secure.These Ring din rail transformer enclosures look great & do the job brilliantly. The transformer is mounted sideways so they don’t protrude from the wall too far & with the curved edges it looks professional. They are also good value for money compared to what you would spend on an ugly box & the time taken to make it work, also this is similar size to other doorbells so there shouldn’t be any making good to do. You might have to drill another hole in the back to suit the existing cable location.If the existing doorbell mains wiring goes straight back to the consumer unit or in a cupboard, you could use a cheap ugly din rail enclosure or even have the transformer installed inside the consumer unit if there is room. However in a lot of modern UK homes, the doorbell power supply is spurred off the lighting circuit, so has to be on show.On a side note, Ring only sell a din rail transformer with DC output, most of their modern doorbells require an AC transformer, so theirs is not suitable. I generally use the BG CUB1, which works well & is good value too. Double check what transformer your doorbell needs before ordering it, although this Ring din rail enclosure is suitable for all 2 module din rail transformers – AC or DC.

Looks the part and is good quality. Houses the ring transformer without any issues. Looks really neat and tidy.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Installed this as the ring doorbell required different connections that my old doorbell gubbins didn’t have, so the case was perfect for the ring. It was also very easy to install with clear instructions and was up within the hour (with installing the doorbell too)!Ease of setup:Very easySound quality:Good!
