After testing several protections, this one is the best, solid and completely protects your device. The radio fits perfectly in the holder and does not slip or fall out during physical activities. Great Quality Adjustable Strap.

This is constructed of a very strong synthetic fabric and has a drain hole at the bottom so water doesn’t pool on the charging connectors. I use this with a Radtel RT-470X radio and whilst it is a tight fit when the belt clip is mounted to the battery, it does fit.The belt loops at the back don’t have what I would consider a positive hold, although I found I could easily adapt the design to thread my flight bag shoulder strap through the back to make it work well for me.It’s a 5 star item for me and I imagine will hold most radio units, even though my model proved to be a bit of a squeeze. I’ve provided photos to demonstrate my personal adaptation.

Functionally Organized!
This is one of those products that you say “I WISH I HAD THIS SOONER!” This is a quality strap… nothing whimpy about it. The stitching and materials are top notch. This qualified “firefighter proof”.I tested this with my Motorola XPR 3500a walkie-talkie that has a mic mounted and makes the radio a bit wider. There is enough slack in the radio pouch for a larger radio, but mine with the mic mount and belt clip fit very nicely. It is simple and easy to remove the radio from the pouch for channel selection if needed by just undoing the buckle. If you aren’t doing anything physical you can surely leave the buckle undone and the radio will stay in the pouch – no problem. However, if you have it buckled in the radio is NOT going to come out. There is a short clipped belt – I call it a hand strap – that you can easily attach to a bar, bunker gear, etc. when you don’t want to hang it by the shoulder strap. All the buckles and clips are substantial. The reflective shoulder strap has 4 sewn-in loops up the front of the strap length that are ideal for clipping your mic onto, etc. I have my Hazmat ID, badge and mic clipped on 3 of the 4 loops and they are all separated enough so they don’t get in each other’s way. The pouch fits the radio and the shoulder strap, at full extension, has the pouch at about my belt height (I am 6′). I like that the strap is reflective to help me from getting run over at a response – and it makes it easy to find your strap if you have to take it off while donning equipment or removing a jacket, etc.If you are a first responder this makes carrying and using your radio an organized operation. It will even make you look more professional (if even a little bit). No more fumbling for your radio and some other stuff you can carry on the strap. It also helps people see you better.Spend the money and buy one of these or have your department buy one for everybody!
