Fits well into my Vauxhall Grandland and holds 2 Radio’s well. Yaesu FT5DE & Alinco DJ-X100. It is well made and packaged well. Comes with instructions which are not that good which is my only critisism. Also A QUESTION ‘ Where do the 2 rubber pads fit too ‘ I’m a bit lost on that one.Definately a good buy. I have bought stuff from HYS a few times and had no issues with anything i have purchased.Thanks. Tony (ROTHERHAM UK)

The bracket mounts easily on to the air vent and stays in place. Adjustment us good too, however the gap for the radio belt clip is too narrow for the major quality brands (Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood) which is a real shame. To solve this a “spacer” would be required on either side of the frontplate, or use nylon/plastic washers.

When one radio is not enough
These are great for more than one mobile radio in a vehicle. In my jeep, when off-roading and over-landing with the family, besides my larger VHF/UHF radio mounted in my FJ cruiser, I also typically have a handheld that I can quickly grab and jump out of the jeep to deal with whatever problem we might come across. Typically I am monitoring more than one frequency, because although I am a licensed HAM, inevitably someone else has FRMS, MURS, GMRS, or the group has some exotic combination of all of them. In fact, with a large group, would not be strange to need more than two radios handy. I have another mic hanger, plus two cell phone holders. Makes for a very crowded center console and dash; so, anything that can help organize it is welcome.

Probably one of the best vent clips I have seen
I generally find vent clips don’t work well, but this one is excellent. Couldn’t find any other solution for mounting my Baofeng radio in my truck but this did the trick!
