When I bought my printer the ink was quite well priced as that is something I look at when purchasing a printer but it has gone up quite a lot in price in the time I have owned the printer. thinkassemble.co.uk is usually the cheapest but even on there it is still quite expensive hence me knocking a star off for value for money! It does last reasonably well, I don’t buy the extra large size for the black as the price for that just feels too much but I am sure the XL black ink would last much longer. I find that the standard size colours and the black run out around the same time for me which is useful. The print quality is good and it is easy to install, it is just the price that makes me balk a little!

However, the page yield is on the lower side—around 200 pages for black and 165 for the tri-color. If you print frequently, you may find yourself needing replacements more often than you’d like. Overall, it’s reliable for home use, but it could last a bit longer for the price.
