Somewhat disappointed
I was upgrading a six year old Samsung 55″ TV and I expected that the picture quality of the 55E8QTUK would be significantly better but it wasn’t. When I get time I will look to see if any setting can be changed to improve the quality of picture. I have not connected my old Sonos soundbar and I haven’t missed it, so the sound on the Hisense, with its built in Subwoofer, is doing a good job.

Very Nice Picture
Very nice picture, easy to set up by itself and then adding the sound bar was just as easy. My only problem with the TV was the delivery service was a bit of an annoyance.

Very poor quality
We thought it seemed too good to be true for the price and we were right. Perhaps it’s because for years we’ve had an LG OLED TV so by comparison it was poor. We found the colours to be wishy washy and if you intend to use it for any games, forget it.

Well impressed with the picture quality it is truly outstanding. Only thing that irks me is when watching live football the picture sometimes goes a bit blocky like it is struggling to keep up but for what I paid I am very happy with overall quality

Decent TV
Good TV for the price with excellent picture quality and sound. Bought mainly for FreelyTV as we have no aerial but have found that sometimes picture can freeze for for upto 10 seconds meaning you can miss important dialogue in a program. The depth of the TV is also wider than expected compared to most modern TV’S

Bright, sharp and punchy
Super picture, bright colours, lots of contrast and everything in sharp definition. Just a slight concern with black and white movies in that the whites are not as bright as they might be, but that is a small niggle, so the TV still gets a 5-star from me. And anyway, a great deal for only £450.
