I am absolutely overjoyed with this watch. As someone who upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, the difference is immediately noticeable and impressive.First, the screen is fantastic. It’s bigger and the domed display is genuinely beautiful to look at. But the single biggest improvement for me is the battery life – it is absolutely incredible. I was used to constantly charging my old watch, but this Pixel Watch 4’s battery just goes on and on, which is exactly what I’ve been wanting in a high-performance smartwatch. The new AI features with Gemini are not just a gimmick, either. They are genuinely useful, and having that level of assistance right on my wrist feels futuristic and practical. My only minor observation is that the side charging mechanism is a little weird at first, but it’s something you get used to quickly, and it’s certainly not enough to detract from an otherwise perfect experience.Given the premium price point, I would definitely recommend that new owners invest in a good screen protector and a case straight away. It’s a high-value item, and it’s worth protecting.Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase. It’s a huge leap forward from my previous watch in every way that matters. Highly recommended!

Very smart bit of kit, it has a long battery life, it’s easy to use and setup, the features are endless it even has the capability of expelling water by sound vibration. As you would expect the quality of the watch is to a high standard and in my opinion it is very good value for money, it’s like having your very own personal trainer on your wrist

This is a brilliant watch, however there is one drawback that I didnt realise until I bought it. The Google Wallet function is not the same as the one on your phone, so although it transfers the cards over and they appear on the watch, they don’t all work with the NFC type terminal. If you dig into the google help articles they say that they will upgrade the wallet to be the same as the one on the phone at some time in the future. Its a pity that is not made clear in all of the info as it means you still have to carry the phone around.

Bought because the screen on my Pixel Watch 1 fell off. Glad I did. It’s such an improvement on the first watch. Beautiful display. Very easy to set up. It copied over from the old watch. Love the Moonstone colour which matches the colour of my Pixel 10 Pro XL. Hopefully it lasts longer than the Pixel Watch 1.

tl;dr:The watch itself is nice with above average accuracy in health tracking but it’s let down by the software. It requires Fitbit for the health tracking to work and you can’t currently have 2 Fitbit wearables assigned to the same phone. The Do Not Disturb sync also appears to be largely broken unless you are using a Pixel phone which isn’t great. If these issues are deal breakers for you then avoid, otherwise I think it’s a great Android watch if you can find it at a decent price.Full review:I really like the design of the watch, the screen is absolutely gorgeous and looks especially great if you use the custom wallpaper watch face option. Battery life seems to be very good, especially if you turn off the always on display (I find the “tilt wrist to wake” feature to negate the need for the always on display). But the health tracking data is where the watch really shines, comparing to some higher end heart right monitors it is pretty darn accurate, being within margin of error when tracking running and rowing. The sleep stage tracking is also pretty decent too and while the accuracy of consumer based sleep tracking devices is limited I feel confident enough in the results that this watch gives. The watch is also somewhat repairable which has to be commended. However there are a couple of really big flaws with the software on this watch that really don’t need to exist in 2025.Firstly the health tracking metrics _require_ the use of Fitbit, without that you are limited to very basic data, I feel this is a bit silly as the watch should at least be able to record and display steps, heart rate etc without needing to sign into FitBit. This becomes truly awful when you realise that in 2025 you _still_ cannot have 2 Fitbit wearables assigned to the same phone, as I already own a Fitbit that I use this means I have to go through the device registration process in Fitbit every time I want to swap devices. Truly terrible user experience. To make matters worse the functionality that syncs the Do Not Disturb status from the phone to the watch just does not work, it works fine on my Fitbit device, but it simply refuses to do anything with the Pixel Watch. I’ve heard that it should work fine if you have a Pixel phone. This is extremely frustrating to me as it means everytime I put my phone in DND mode I have to then go and manually do the same on my watch. I have a bunch of schedules that trigger DND based on my work/routine so this is more of an issue for me than it might be for others.Given these flaws and the lack of real hardware changes since the previous watch I do feel the watch is a touch too expensive at it’s current RRP (I paid launch prices).I’m going to keep the watch (at least for now) as I really value having a stylish daily driver that has decent health metric accuracy but I would advise caution for anyone who wants to use multiple Fitbit products or who is reliant on DND.If another Android based product comes along that has equally accurate health metrics across the board and decent software I will be jumping ship.

Great watch. Comfortable, does everything it says it will do which other watches haven’t. Yes it needs charging every day but takes about 20 minutes. Is pricey but if it continues to perform it will be worth it.
