This product was easy to install even for a DIY person like myself. The app works well with the camera. Only thing to be warned about the light is bright ( not a bad thing ) you can turn the brightness down ( bonus ) . Great product , just a bit pricey but you are paying for great build quality.

Bought this for my Mother-In-Law to replace an existing outside light and give them some security.They love watching the wildlife in their garden at night (foxes and badgers mainly), and it’s a great peace of mind for us as we can see the video feed also – no worrying about if they have fallen over outside.The picture quality is great, and the floodlight settings offer a levels of variability both in sensitivity and brightness to stop it going off too often. The floodlight can also be turned on and off separately via the app to act as an outside light.

I added this to an existing setup. As this was a new camera it’s not supported on the original Nest application I use, I thought this was going to be a downside, but it turns out the Google Home app is as good and probably quicker.

Poor quality, unfit for purpose. Expensive subscriptions for a product unable to record an event. Camera doesn’t even trigger when someone walks on a clear driveway in the middle of the day.

Easy to install, only let down is the app. Anyone that uses nest products will know how slow it is to load. But the flood light is spot on, can set automations with it also

I had a NEST camera that worked perfectly well for 2.5 years until I changed my router then I had to set it up from the start again, that is when the trouble started. I could not get it to work with NEST as, quote it was registered to another account. After a few days trying everything from factory reset onwrds I gave up and purchased a new Google Nest camera with two spotlights. The QR code on the camera took me to a Google thermostat setup site! Every Youtube video I found was concerned with wiring the camera and siteing it. Once again I tried setting it up using the NEST app (It was called Google Nest on the box) but I could not get it to work, (the accompaning documentation is appaling) evertually i found a user group and one comment said it does not work with Nest it only works with GooleHome, I installed GooleHome and guess what It works! Why on earth then does Google not provide the proper set up proceedure in the first place?

Unable to connect the camera on Google Home
Surprisingly I purchased the camera and I’mNot able to add the camera on google home. I keep getting an error msg that there’s a problem connecting to the cloud!
