10x better than the in-box mount that came with my Varia RCT715. It does depend on how you adjust it but my RCT715 now sits 6” further back and around 6” higher up than it was, which are both great bonuses.A word of warning though, the bolts that go through clamps to fasten them to the seat rails are VERY tight.As with all Garmin products, it’s not cheap but it is money well spent.

I spent a good half hour looking at obscure branded mounts and came across this purely by accident. Built like a tank. I wouldn’t trust my RCT715 to anything else. Perfect if you have a dropper post.

Good, solid metal and very strong. Why the 3 stars. the extension piece didn’t fit at all. As you can see in the picture. I had to file the sides down and even then it was a struggle to fit them together.

This mount works great on all my road bikes. Keeps the Varia out of the “wheel” reflection. And it gets the light up higher for better visibility. Mounts securely and properly tightened, does not move.
