Comfy chair but poor quality wood
Comfortable chair. Incredibly well packaged. Quality of wood not great. Arms are not one piece, but made up of lots of little sections glued together. Greyish coating applied over that to hide joins. Little red arrows indicating faults still attached on legs!

I’m genuinely impressed by the quality and comfort of this chair. The craftsmanship is excellent — from the warm-toned leather to the beautifully shaped oak frame, it feels both sturdy and stylish. Gallery Ashford Natural Linen Armchair
Very attractive chair but extremely poorly finished. I ordered 2 of these chairs and thinkassemble.co.uk had to arrange for both chairs to be completely refinished which involved sanding down the whole chair and then re staining. This took 2 separate visits by the refinishing company and involved approximately 5 hours intensive work for each visit. It would have been more honest if thinkassemble.co.uk had described the chairs as “Shabby Chic”. If they had done this the. I would probably not have purchased them.

Terrible quality – wooden arms had faults on them and had been filled with wood filler to disguise the fault. we had to send back for a refund This is not the usual Cost Co quality.

Pleased with the style/shape of the chair although the wood finish (grey oak) did not match the product picture.

Look great and very comfortable
These are just what we wanted for use as occasional chairs, very stylish and a nice size. The distressed leather is lovely and they are comfortable. They look more expensive than they were although the finish on the wood could be better, there are a few rough areas and joints that aren’t quite flush. Overall they’re great for the price though and we’re happy with them

Great value chair
Great chair, especially for the cost, and we have it in our kitchen diner. The only downside is that the bottom cushion is fixed to the frame and so it can’t be removed for washing. A shame really. Otherwise very pleased with it.

The colour of the chair is more a tan than a brown and it wasn’t that comfy to sit on hence poor score so I sent the chair back and got full refund

Price was competitive, delivery service very efficient. Finish on chairs is a bit poor with the wood being a bit rough in places. A bit more attention to detail would have made these a better purchase.

These are beautifully designed and made to an exceptional standard. They were boxed with care and attention and the leather is very soft and has a lovely colour tone. Look exactly as they did in the photo on the thinkassemble.co.uk site and we got a massive discount on these chairs as they were on special offer. They complete our rooms and have a modern take on mid century modern. We love these chairs already and complement our other mid century furniture.

Gallery Arm Chair
Very like the Ercol original but uses sections of glued wood for the arms rather than whole, bent pieces. Very good value for money considering the Ercol retails at £1200-£1600!
