Does the job nicely. Noticeably reduced sound and still provides a decent shift of heat from the PC (using it as a second fan on a Thermalright True Spirit 90M CPU cooler).Good delivery (Think Assemble still thinks it’s on its way, but I’ve already installed it and have been using it for half a day now). Great value for money. Definitely thinking of buying another and going all-out Fractal in my Fractal Design Core 1000 mATX case 😉

I bought this to replace the Arctic cooling fan that was in my NAS. The Arctic fan was too loud and this fan is dead silent, even with my ear right next to it it’s barely audible. (I attached it using rubber mounts instead of the included screws)

Very quiet since it doesn’t move much air.
Fractal, I picked your older 1100 series case for simplicity and price. It came with a 120mm in the front and I added this one to the rear. My hope was that the 120 up front pulling cold air in and the 92 mm in the rear along with the top mounted PSU pulling hot air out would work. Admittedly it does but not as well as I would have liked. To your defense, you did add a place on the side for an additional 120 and I am going to populate it along with a magnetic filter.

Ordered 2. Came in 4 days. One was broken – but still operational. Thing is, there were no broken parts (black outside case) in the box so it must have been broken before shipping. Poor or no quality control at manufacturer’s end.
