Absolutely wonderful with a small caveat. We are big fans of the standard cheddar cheese but we’re a little wary of ordering this given some of the other feedback. However, we were wowed by the flavour – it’s subtle but wonderful. The caveat is that a partially opened block went a little mouldy, which isn’t something we have encountered before, with its cousin – so maybe there is some volatility with the fungal element. Someone else does say that it freezes well; we’ll be doing this shortly.

Such a disappointment this cheese is. Lovely cheddar but not even a hint or smell of truffle . No matter how hard you try to smell or taste the truffle it’s just isn’t there. Whatever those brown speckles are just plain mushrooms. Shame as whoever supplied this cheese clearly haven’t got a clue what the real truffled cheese should smell and taste like

Perishable cheese I ordered as a Christmas Gift with set order date for December actually arrived in October so not very happy. Customer Services did not help either.
