Great cameras, great price from
I got these to replace an older set without the solar module and the Homebase 2. These have solar and the additional features powered by the Homebase 3. They were very easy to install on the walls, orientate and connect to the app. It’s great that you don’t get tied in to an ongoing subscription for the app features. I like the solar power dashboard, so you can see if they are keeping charge from the daylight. You can set up people profiles so the app will alert you who it has detected, and it can recognise pets in the garden too. The app is well designed, slick, works well and I have never had issues with it

Very good. Could be better.
This is a good all round system. The picture quality is excellent and I like that I can integrate my eufy doorbell into the homebase.
I do have some minor criticisms – the range of the wireless connection isn’t great – if I left the homebase next to my router, connected to ethernet, it couldn’t connect to two out of the three cameras and the connection to the third was weak. (For reference, I’m in a modest 3 bed, brick built 60’s semi) Fortunately after initial setup you can move the homebase and use a WiFi connection instead – which seems to work well enough. (I don’t know why the whole system can’t just use either my existing mesh WiFi, or form it’s own mesh network using the cameras as nodes)
Other than that – the video captures are a bit slow to initiate, meaning people are halfway up the drive / virtually at the door before they start. That said, the images captured of them are very good. The bionic mind AI is very good at recognising familiar faces.
Bare in mind also, that this system only captures incidents – there is no option to record all the time.

Poor quality cameras in cold weather
Already had to get eufy to change all 3 cameras due to being unusable at night when cold(condensation)!! This proves they aren’t really 100% waterproof or weather proof.Looking to go for another model camera or company now!

Work well during the day, night shots less so
Work well during the day, night shots can be a bit blurry if the person is moving quickly. The AI identifies people well, although the app is not perfect, I still have notifications for known people, which is annoying.

WARNING DON’T BUY!!! CAMERAS SERM GOOD SPEC. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK AT ALL ITS SO FLAWED! APP IS VERY VERY SLOW BOTH TO OPEN AND OPERATE ITIS FULL OF FLAWS.
HOMEBASE 3 HAS POOR RECEPTION EVEN AT 2M IN DIRECT SITE. RECORDED CLIPS ARE CORRUPT REGULARLY, AI DOES NOT WORK CAPTURE AND RECOGNISE CRASH JUST LEAVING A WHITE SCREEN. I HAVE TRIED ALL THE TECH SUGGESTIONS. LOTS OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE CHECK FOR YOURSELF. STILL FAULTY. I AM IT LITERATE AS I AM A COMPTER ENGINEER FOR OVER 35 YEARS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Great kit
Great kit with lots of features including light on cameras – very easy to set up and good picture quality. We have found that the recording are slow to send to the app when camera detects movement appropriately 7-10 seconds. The price we paid from was excellent compared to the same product on the high street. I would definitely recommend this product if your thinking of having cameras installed as these are very easy to fit and connect to the app following the instructions given .

Quality piece of kit
First time buyers of home security cameras, we did our research for what we wanted for our home and decided on these. And glad we did . What a great set up, and easy to install both physically and by instructions. Quality product with no monthly fees. Would not hesitate to recommend. Eufy are part of the Anker group …. My son bought an Anker speaker some years ago… also a quality item….still going strong and immense sound quality. I am confident we will get the same service out of this new camera set . (We bought the matching doorbell too … which is also brill!)

Easy install and good battery performance to date
Very easy to set up. The cameras are easy to sync and after a full charge, took 4hours. They have been in use for two months and have dropped 30%. I supports to be expected as there has been little sun I the North East England.

The system is very easy to set up and install, if you can climb a ladder and drill a few holes. It is very easy to add greater storage with a hard drive of your choice, all the steps are on the downloaded app. the quality of the recorded events are very good.
The down side for me, is that it does not record all the time, only ‘events’ that pass in front of the cameras.
