Cams failed to pick up in focus movements
I have been using the other Eufy indoor plug in cam for several years, the entry level C120. They have worked fine over the last 3+ years until one of them decided to not function one day, bought this newer and supposed better S350 to replace it.
Setting up this new S350 was straight forward as I have been using the Eufy App for more than 2+ years daily, the setting and notification on this was set up as my other Eufy cams.
Issues:
1. This S350 could not pick up moving pedestrian motion, therefore no push notification received to alert via the app
2. The image quality when compared to my older 2+ year old entry level C120 plug in cam, is of a much “browner” image quality, the colour definition was poorer, whereas the C120 gave a much truer “green” where trees and shrubs are green rather than the poorly reproduced “brown” that this C350 gave.
After removing from the app, unplugging and restarted to set up the cam once again, the issue remained, it would not pick up motion, even after adjusting the sensitivity.
Also note that with each and every NEW eufy cameras, no matter how expensive they are, the FPS of the cameras do not get any better, it is still just 15 frames per second, which isn’t adequate to identify someone’s face clearly even if they are walking at a slow pace at night where the area is well lit.
I gave up and returned for refund.
