Andy Wroblewski –
I am really delighted with these Walkie Talkies from ESYNIC. They are a massive 5 watts too (5WATT / 1WATT selectable), with a quality antenna, DTMF encoded, 128 Memory Channels, even an FM receiver (65MHZ to 108MHZ), as well as of course the transmit receive frequencies (RX / TX) of 136mhz – 174mhz (VHF) and 400mhz – 520mhz (UHF).It features too, a rechargeable lithium-Ion 704v battery 1800mAh, which charges the device on anexcellent cradle, connected to a standard 5v USB phone type charger. When not in use, I simply switched the TX/RX “walkie talkie” to FM, and listened to one of the manyradio stations while working.Remember this is supplied as a pack of 1, but I ordered 2, so that I could make best use of contactbetween 2 persons while working etc.I found that if I was working on the same site as a colleague, eg a garden centre, supermarket, then the1 watt setting was fine, but if you are a fair distance from a colleague, example on a very long walk adistance apart, then the high power setting is more useful.Thank you for an amazing product, at a really good price. I took advantage, at the time, ofthinkassemble.co.uk Prime Day, which saved me a fortune by buying two (as I really did need two), but still a bargain even when no promotions applied. Included are 4 images showing the radios in use and being charged up on their cradles.

Great product

Great little radio.I bought this to go with my other SHTF kit. (Torches, candles, water filter, solar charger, etc).I’m not a true prepper but I do like to have a backup incase of power outages, network outages and so on.This radio is a great little addition and I’m enjoying learning about how to use it correctly and working towards a HAM Radio license.Out the box I could listen to a little bit of traffic at my local port. Few ships coming and going. Nothing much but still, it works and audio was crisp when the port broadcasted.I now have an Ariel upgrade en route, along with a usb programming cable. The cable, I’m told, will allow me to configure the radio via an app on my PC. That’s a relief as doing it by hand is a chore. The Ariel upgrade is to allow me to reach further in my local area. The standard ariel got me about 3 miles away (port opps base). Hopefully the new one will allow me to reach my local repeaters. I’ll update this review as and when.I’m told the Baofeng is supplied with a cable but this radio is still a bargain price with the extra cost of the cable included (£7.99) here on thinkassemble.co.uk.I’m reading a few books (from Prime Library) to accompany this radio. They are great for desyphering the garage of info available on the internet.All-in-all, a great little purchase. Hope I never need it. But I’ll be glad I got it and learned how to use it if I do tho!(Update: The Ariel upgrade and USB cable worked great.)

This is the second unit I’ve bought as they are very good. The radio is very robust, easy to use and has a very good battery life.
thinkassemble.co.uk Customer –
Originally purchased for work use, incorrectly thinking I would be able to use a licensed radio such as this on PMR frequencies and being able to take advantage of the higher transmitting power, for clearer communication when inside a building where license free PMR radios tend to fall short. whilst capable of transmitting/receiving PMR frequencies, after doing some research to get a license it became clear that it would not be legal in the UK to use a licensed radio on the license free PMR frequencies so unfortunately not fit for my intended purpose. That said when used correctly in accordance with the ham radio license, it is a great radio to communicate with other ham users, easy to program, loud, clear audio, good battery life and long range. Now the downside to this unit is it is not a robust as it looks and after dropping it once the clip for the battery broke off meaning I had to resort to tape to keep the battery in place and after many months of use the volume control stopped working properly, but as I said it is a great cheap radio to start off with, some points to bear in mind when purchasing this radio for use in the UK is that you will require a license for this unit which is fairly easy to get after doing an online exam and the fee is fairly cheap.

These budget handsets work well I have often thought about spending more money on a handset but when these do the job & they are priced in the pocket money range why spend much more money on a handset that mainly does less than this handset.

Leggera, compatta, doppia banda, programmabile e pluri impostabile!
Acquisto consigliato ovviamente!
