Why have I only just got one of these?
We’ve been after an all-in-one ‘bean to cup’ coffee machine for quite a while now and waited for the ‘right one’. However, when we spotted it and tried to order, it had sold out, so we decided to take a punt on this and reckoned to get just a stand-alone coffee machine in due course. What a decision. This is absolutely bang-on. It is fast, efficient and simplicity itself to operate – until we got the coffee machine, we used it for Horlicks, Ovaltine and Hot Chocolate for the grandchildren. The unit itself is solid of course – Dualit’s build quality ensures that. Absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this – cannot speak highly enough.

Dualit milk steamer
The steam wand needs to be pulled out slightly when using to enable the milk to be aerated efficiently. The steam will get to temperature quickly with little effort. Easy to set up water goes into the top container under the lid. The in off switch is on the left hand side as you look at the machine and the steam dial is on the right. This is a great addition to a cafetière or stove top coffee maker or even a electric bean to cup machine that does not have a milk spout. I have used this for hot chocolate, cappuccino, latte and the milk foams professionally and accurately as designed to do. This would be an asset to a small cafe or for home use.

Magic Frother
Absolutely love this item. Having owned a BTC for many years, when it broke after 6 years I did not replace due to financial and space issues in a small kitchen. However, missed the milky drinks such as cappuccino and latte’ they produce. This is 100% a suitable and I would say better replacement. I tried various milk frothers from multiple brands and were never good enough or made coffees quickly enough. Now I either use my coffee press or hob espresso maker that I can put back in the cupboard after use and use this frother to make the perfect froth.
Great froth with little practice and getting better the more I use. Froth produced is silky and better than the coffee shop opposite my house.
Froth ease to produce and comes with a good quality stainless steel frothing jug and thermometer. Only slight criticism is the gauge just indicates the optimal range and not actual temperature. Minor complaint.
Easy to setup, use and clean. Fits under kitchen cabinets easily and build quality is what you expect from Dualit. Not made in the UK sadly like there classic toasters but superb nonetheless.
I contemplated purchasing this for some time and bit the bullet over Black Friday. So glad I did.
The last drawback…….my wife wants me to permanently make her coffee.
If you are contemplating and are put off over purchasing an expensive Bean To Cup machine then this is perfect. I wish I could post photos to show the excellent results of froth achieved.

AMAZING – GAME CHANGER – VERY GOOD VALUE
Love Love Love this machine. I am a barista now 🙂 makes lovely smooth tiny bubbles of milk for your latte, cappuccinos or hot chocolates. Skimmed milk is the best for making smooth bubbly milk. (tried full fat and semi) instructions a little limited, I turn machine on, once the light is constant green, I start the pump (turn the top dial – it makes a heartbeat noise as the pump works) and the strong pressurised steam comes the spout, fill the jug half full of milk (makes 2 mugs) take the jug away (move the base drip tray away) so the steam bubbles the top surface of the milk, once the big bubbles are made, I then move back the drip tray and stand the jug back in position and wait for the required temperature to show on the included thermometer. By making big bubble first this allows all the small tiny smooth bubbles to sit under and multiply and its perfect every time. Yes 100% recommend this and would buy again. Strong well made machine. I use filtered water to fill up the reservoir from a Brita jug, (even though the machine comes with 3 filters) ….. it uses lots of water but its so worth it 🙂 cleaning is better with a brand new flannels, the towelling makes friction and removes any milk on the stainless spout. Normal dish cloth or dish sponge does not really work. Turn the steam on to clean the inside of the spout …watch out its very hot!!!

Fantastic product. Makes delicious frothy milk quickly. My suggestion is to have it in close proximity to the sink or have a water jug handy as it does consume lots of water.

A great and very fast but a little on the noisy side, ok for the professional market but less so for the home. That said I am very happy with it. The cost could be an issue with some , over the years I have spent over £1000 on milk frothers and non lasted or were very effective.

At last hot steamed milk
Brilliant machine.
Quick start up.
I use my bean to cup machine to make my coffee while I’m making my hot frothed milk.
I have 1 criticism and that is the location of the on/off button, with it being on the left and steamer knob on the right you have to have space both sides or having to move it to access.

Great milk steamer, would highly recommend it
I was looking for a good standalone milk steamer (i.e. not frother) to go with my Nespresso machine, and this has not disappointed at all. This machine can steam the milk with great texture. It is a bit noisy when in use but I think it is acceptable.

Great build quality and easy to maintain. Excellent steam pressure. Heats and froths milk beautifully. The pump makes a loud pulsing sound during steaming, in fact I had thought was a fault (other reviewers have commented on it elsewhere) We’ve had this for a few months and it’s worked reliably. The noise is a very small price to pay for such a super piece of kit.

My wife is a huge coffee drinker and loves extra hot milk. Other frothers just didn’t quite do it. This machine is awesome. It is as close to a professional shop frother as one can get. Really high quality product.

Fantastic product.
Fantastic product, used it for a festival to increase our coffee out put. I also use dualit coffee machines that have never let us down and turned out thousands of coffees. The steamer needed descaling every 500 cups or so but descale was quick and easy to do.

Takes practice, but definitely worth it
Bought this as the steamer/frother on my coffee machine wasn’t really cutting it. It’s a really nice piece of kit although, be warned, you’ll get fingerprints all over it and you’ll spend a lot of time wiping it down if you want it to look perfect. The actual steaming process is really great though and I’m getting the best steamed/frothed milk I’ve ever achieved at home. Be sure to purge the wand before you start and purge and wipe it after you’ve finished. It’s a bit noisy, but no more so than the coffee machine steamer. If you’re a big fan of a home made latte this is well worth a look and the price from thinkassemble.co.uk was great compared to other retailers when I bought it. I’m justifying the purchase by avoiding buying coffees at retailers and I reckon within one month of a two coffee a day habit, this will have more than paid for itself.

You may struggle to get silky smooth froth if you are into making your cup a work of art, but can still get it smooth enough for a good cup of that’s what you are after.
