I used this to give the washing machine a deep clean and it did exactly what it’s meant to do. The machine felt fresher afterwards and it’s reassuring to know it’s properly cleaned inside, especially with regular use.The quality is good and it’s simple to use with clear instructions. For the price, the value for money is fair, particularly as part of regular machine maintenance. A straightforward product that works as expected.

To be honest, cleaning my washing machine has never been high on my list of priorities… Infact, it never crossed my mind… However, when the general area around my machine started to smell a bit ‘pungent’, that’s when I took notice…A quick google search revealed a whole raft of different ways of cleaning your washing machine, from home made solutions to stupidly expensive industrial cleaners… I couldn’t be arsed to mix up white vinegar and baking soda and I wasn’t going to spend a fortune on the ‘Rolls Royce’ of cleaners, so I opted for Dr. Beckmann… I already used the very impressive Dr. Beckmann Magic Leaves for my laundry (small loads) and I trust the brand, so I thought I would give this inexpensive solution a try… I was pleased I did because the result was great… Spotless machine and no more smells and all for less than two quid… I’ve seen a few bad reviews but can only imagine they have other issues like drainage problems or poor detergent choices, because this worked perfectly well for me… Bear in mind that this is the first time I’ve put a cleaner through my machine in over 3 years… It’s recommended to run a cleaner through your machine every one to three months… That seems a bit like ‘overkill’ to me, but I’ll personally schedule in a clean every six months… or sooner if it starts to smell… I have no hestitation in recommending this product and giving it the full 5 stars…

Moved into a house with a very smelly integrated washing machine bought a packet of this and it certainly shifted a lot of debris (which I found in the drum) but it was still pretty smelly so I gave it one more go with another packet and hey bingo smell is gone and machine is as clean as a whistle it’s such a reasonable price that it’s cheap enough to do it a couple of times

Excellent at removing buildup and odor
Works better than other cleaners to break down drum scum. Odor problem has dissipated. Sometimes the powder leaks from the packaging but not significantly.

I think it is common knowledge just how hard it is to get rid of black mould, and many people have this issue from bathrooms, to garages, cars etc, but I wasn’t expecting to find it in my washing machine. I had pulled back the seal just by accident and I was completely SHOCKED by how much there was growing in there. I immediately went online looking for washing machine cleaners, and found this one. I know Dr.Beckmann make a tremendous carpet stain cleaner, so I thought why not try this….. I have to say, I am mightily impressed. My washing machine looks literally BRAND NEW inside the drum. Could not believe it. That was just after pouring one box in and putting it on a 60 degrees celcius wash. It smells cleaner, and one thing I have noticed is that my washing, when I air dry it, now smells a lot cleaner too. This was great value for money to the point I bought 5 of them. Instructions are clear and it is easy to use. It comes in a good quality, little carboard box, no plastic packaging, so you can recycle it no problem. I am very impressed and would highly recommend this to anybody wanting to clean their washing machine with ease.
