Bought this as was needing something to allow me to use my laptop with two monitors at home like I do in the office, and getting the actual Dell docking station was too expensive for home, so thought I would try this. Much smaller than I expected however it worked straight out the box, I simply plugged the cable into my laptop and connected my monitors to the HDMI ports and it worked straight away, I also put in the USB transmitter for my mouse and keyboard which also worked without any fuss. The small size allowed my to tuck it away under the desk to keep the desktop tidy. Overall very please with this considering the price.

So far so good. Quick set up, easy to connect and overall great quality for money. The cable should be a bit longer but that’s not a big issue for me. The only problem I have is that I am using a Mac and it doesn’t support dual monitors. I didn’t know macOS doesn’t handle MST. It recognises my 2 monitors as only one display while I need extended display. I give it 5 stars because all works perfectly- display, usb, audio, video quality etc it would be great for windows, though.

Very happy with the item. Works as expected. Connected 2 laptops via a usbc dock to one side and to a PC on the other side. I am able to switch my dual monitors/keyboard/mouse to the PC and back to the laptops at the press of a button.

great little gadget that does what it says it will do. Good connections and a good price. My USB-C port that would support this technology had a few issues but the helpdesk were really great at finding out how to fix it (static electricity in the port).

AS A HUB, IT IS SUPPOSED TO CONNECT MORE THAN ONE DRIVE. IT CONNECTED ONE DRIVE SUCCESSFULLY BUT EVERYTHING FAILED AS SOON A SECOND DRIVE WAS CONNECTED TO THE HUB EVEN THE SUCCESSFUL DRIVE FAILED.TRIED WITH DIFFERENT DRIVES TO ENSURE IT WAS NOT A DRIVE PROBLEM. IT WAS THE HUB THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. BASICALLY, A WASTE OF MONEY.

Works most of the time, but has always been a bit flaky and random. After about a year, both hdmi ports have stopped working, so is pretty useless now.
