I’m a regular user of surface wipes, wouldn’t be without a pack in the kitchen, where I use them daily to wipe down worktops, sink, hob etc. These ones are “slightly* less wet than regular Dettol wipes (and for that matter most supermarket-own brand ones that I’ve used) but still sufficiently moist to get the job done. The result is less residual moisture left behind on the surface after wiping, so they dry less smeary, although not entirely smear free (easily overcome by a quick further buff with a microfiber cloth). The smell on these is perfectly pleasant, not overly chemically. The fact that they are safe to use on surfaces that come into contact with food is also reassuring. All told, heartily recommended, albeit the regular Dettol wipes are similarly good so price remains the decisive factor in choosing.

I don’t have a pen name –
I’ve never come across a duff Dettol product and this is no exception. The wipes are sufficiently sturdy for kitchen cleaning and have a decent smell, they perform well particularly against grease and grime. They’re handy for the odd occasion when I can’t be bothered to get a cloth and spray out but I feel a jay cloth and some dettol spray is a more sustainable solution, are these biodegradable? No mention so assume not.

These wipes are great for a quick maintenance clean around the kitchen. I love the scent of them – very fresh. I find it difficult to get them out of the pack one at a time and they’re also fairly small, so in fact I need to use more than one at a time. For me they are a bit too wet. They do clean effectively. Personally I think there are better wipes out there.
