After spending quite a lot of time looking at various cases I finally decided to get the Corsair 5000D Airflow RGB. Prompt delivery, as always with Think Assemble Prime. An aesthetically pleasing and high quality case. There’s lots of space to fit everything, even for complex custom water cooling loops if required. I’d highly recommend the RGB version with the additional fans and controller which seems good value for money. The current spec of this build is as follows:Asus RoG Strix Z790-E-Gaming WifiIntel i9-14900K CPUCorsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD XT AIO CPU Cooler (Push/Pull fan configuration)64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium 6600Mhz DDR5 RAMNvidia RTX 4090 Founders Edition GPU1x 1TB Crucial T705 PCIe 5.0 NVMe Drive2x 2TB Samsung 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe DriveI also purchased 4 additional fans which I installed into the side of the case.Cooling is excellent, CPU and GPU remains at relatively good temperature even under load. The amount of space for additional internal hubs and controllers is ample. Also dedicated channels behind the motherboard allowing for nice neat cable management. I would recommend this case to anybody that is competent enough to build a computer. 🙂

Overall:It’s a great case for anyone, it is large so make sure you measure your availabile space before ordering. Plenty of space on the inside for large GPUs and I’d imagine a custom loop. I’d argue it’s good for first timers to use as of the amount of space.CPU & GPU in use for reference: R7 5800X & RTX 3070Do I recommend? YesPositives:Basement has lots of space for cables (especially if your not using HDDs).Plenty of spaces for fans and water coolers.3 2.5Inch slots on the back of mobo mounting area.Front IO features audio, 2 USB A and 1 C, reset and power buttons.Front, back and top dust filters.PSU dust filter.Plenty of room for large GPUs.Cable management straps included.Airflow is good, everything inside stays below 65C.Negatives:Top filter feels a bit too restrictive of airflow.Cable management is a bit annoying for going up the case, could be thicker.Could of sent some rubber covers for front IO not in use to stop dust.

Rating: 5/5Price when purchased: £139.99Pros:- Exceptional value for the price point.- Prompt and secure delivery with meticulous packaging, nestled in foam and safeguarded with transparent foil.- Significant enhancements over the 4000d airflow model, including a glass door feature and an adaptable internal layout. If your initial component arrangement isn’t optimal, the flexible inner walls make adjustments a breeze.- Perfectly accommodates the MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK motherboard.- Inclusion of 2 fans and a fan controller enhances its value proposition.- Maintenance is straightforward with easily detachable nets ensuring cleanliness.Cons:- Its weight (13.84kg / 30.51lbs) can be a drawback for those considering mobility. I initially contemplated transporting it from the EU to the UK but ultimately chose to purchase a second unit for the UK.I’ve always been partial to Corsair cases, having previously owned the 4000d airflow. Transitioning to the 5000d airflow feels like a significant upgrade. This model boasts an array of detachable compartments, increased easy-to-clean airflow nets, and the added functionality of a hinged glass door. The design is accommodating, allowing for greater ease when setting up, particularly when connecting cables and fans. Aesthetically, the case is a stunner—sleek and modern. It’s refreshing to see such a refined design at this price point. My initial reservations about fitting the Z790 TOMAHAWK were put to rest—it integrates seamlessly.

This case is excellent. It has a very roomy interior with intelligent mounting and cable management. Plus you can customise the interior a bit to cater to your needs. Want more fans? Take this piece out and you can fit 3 more in. Want to mount your ssds up front, done. Want the clean minimalist look, done. It’s by far the easiest case if built in, the airflow is excellent, it looks great, has plenty of I/O built in…honestly, for the price (£130 at time of writing), it’s a bargain.

Out of the Box this case met all my expectations, good quality material and finishing’s. Packaged superbly well and also arrived sooner than expected (always a bonus). Upon building my Pc i started to realise what a great choice id made as everything fitted together so well, was a joy to see. This is a mid size tower? in my eye its BIGGER than your standard mid towers, mind you the lower priced towers always turn out to be smaller Cpu/Gpu ovens. This Case is very spacious, Very! Cable management is also perfect. The Air flow is amazing…its dropped my Gpu temperature by a whopping 18 degree’s whilst playing Vanguard(max specs and load). My pervious case was a mid tower oven, so glad i switched. The only Reasons for 4 stars are minor really so don’t be put off. What i noticed on the front panel has no red light to indicate when the hard drives are loading, nothing in the wiring either, also sadly the motherboard standoff screws didn’t fit. bit weird (had some spare to hand thankfully). The most annoying thing i found was the Case’s Vertical Gpu mount. I purchased the separate corsair PCI express lead for this of course. When you mount your Gpu vertically it works and looks great, but its very close to the glass side panel and restricts airflow to the Gpu fans. This heated up things a lot, enough for me to not even consider that option anymore and return the lead, shame.Other than that I’m very happy with this case, my new AIO fitted wonderfully with so many options on your build this one will keep you going for some time. Happy Pc building, hope the review helps 🙂

This is it. The endgame PC Case.
An absolute beast of a case. This is my newest computer case and I have no desire to change that in the near future.Build QualityFirst of all, this thing is built like a tank as far as PC cases go. Nothing flimsy here: just pure build quality, solid design, no cutting corners. Hardly any plastic goes into this case. I have the upmost faith that this case will last me a long time. I even like the screws that the case came with.FeaturesSpace: This case is gigantic and can hold lots of things. It has so much room for expansion. With my previous cases, I had to consider the clearance needed for my GPUs and radiators. Not for the 5000D: I know I can upgrade my parts without needing to consider clearance space or size. And that’s a huge plus if you plan on PC gaming for the long run. I have a large GPU, a GPU brace, and a figurine in this thing, and I still have room.Cable Management: This thing can hold your cables and keep it all pretty. There are plenty of holes and paths to route your cables in an efficient and aesthetically pleasing way. There’s even an ingenious velcro cable tie system on the right side of the case to keep everything organized. The HDD bay, which usually gets in the way of the PSU cables, can slide over to give more room for tucking away spare cables that would just dangle around in most PC cases.Customization: There is a swappable plate for the interior of the case that gives you a slick curve if you don’t need the HDD bay moved all the way over: and if you do need the HDD bay moved over, the other plate looks just fine too. You can fit 140mm or 120mm fans. I even found the perfect spot for my fan hub. One advantage of a large case like the 5000D is that you can find a spot for almost anything you want to add.Cooling / Temps: This case keeps my parts ice cold. Even running games at their max, I’ve never seen my temps over 55. I don’t know how much of it can be credited to the 5000D, but it is certainly a factor. This case was probably designed with cooling in mind. It can hold 140mm fans up front, it has side panel fans, plenty of clearance up top for a radiator, and there are almost no air leaks throughout the case (no matter how negligible that effect may be, it’s still nice). Having potentially 10 120mm case fans is a dream come true. The case also has really nice dust filters that sit perfectly where they should, and are built to last. Yes, i’ve broken a plastic dust filter in the past. The 5000D was clearly built for me. And as another note, I have the model that has a solid front and top (with vents on the side). With my previous cases, I would worry that not enough air travels through the case because the front and top intakes were covered by plastic/metal, but the vents on the 5000D are large enough that it is clearly not a problem. The air goes in, no doubt, but it also protects anything from getting into the PC.Aesthetics: I’d like to commend Corsair for making a great-looking case. It sits on my desk and I am proud to show it off. Pictures can make it look boxy or stiff because of the sheer size of it, but once it’s actually in your sights, it looks great. It’s no-nonsense, it’s functional, yet it’s cool. The smoky window on the left panel is excellent. You can see your RGB working inside the case without being too overbearing. I’ve had cases where the light bled through too much. Some negatives: There really isn’t much to complain about. The thing is heavy, but that’s because it’s large. I do wish that the side panel fans weren’t as noisy: unlike the other areas, these fans have practically nothing between them and the outside. However this is more of a problem with my choice of case fan rather than the case itself. The thing also just barely misses the clearance for 3 140mm case fans, overkill though that may be. It leaves an awkward hole of like 120mm where it doesn’t fit.Overall, this is the best PC case for the value. I have no need to check if anything more expensive is better because, well, this does everything I want. I recommend it for anyone near the mid-tier PC level, and doubly so if it’s on sale.

Muy buena case

Almost the perfect case.
The 5000D Airflow. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with such a great case in all my years.Honestly this case is full of good ideas and good execution, from dust filters to fan mounting to rad support. I squeezed a thicc 360 Corsair XR7 into the front a 240 XR5 up top and this thing runs cool as ice even when my 3080 is pushing 400W and my 10600K is flying high at 125W.Excellent cable runs in behind and plenty of depth behind the panel make this a dream for cable management. Lots of room to expand, even vertical GPU mounting is possible. If I had to have a gripe or two…. Maybe a fan splitter would be a nice addition, and some more space up top. I really wanted to mount another 360 rad up top, but I just couldn’t squeeze it in. If the top was maybe a half inch higher and the case a half inch longer it would fit two XR7s. Also the included Corsair fans are garbage like usual. I swapped them out for some grey Noctuas up top and Cooler Master RGB Sickleflows in the front.Otherwise this case is brilliant. The glass is gorgeous, the paint is good quality, the plastics are slick. Good job Corsair, you earned my money this time.
