Great value and very tasty
We bought the salmon for a drinks party we had over Christmas and it was a real treat. Everyone loved it.
It arrived packed in ice with a long shelf life which was perfect as we didn’t use it until 3 days later. We left it refrigerated in the ice until required. You do need to garnish it yourself which wasn’t a problem for me. I just laid it on a bed of lettuce and decorated with some sliced lemon which I pretty much copied from the picture. It is true that the smoked salmon only partly covers the fish but for us that wasn’t an issue. We’ve bought dressed salmon before from other places and it has been almost double the price. This is great value for money and we would buy it again.

Very disappointed
We ordered this product for Christmas delivery after checking out the “mostly” positive reviews already posted. It was delivered exactly on the day we asked for, 3 days before Christmas, and we immediately put it in the fridge for our special treat for Boxing Day. This was well within the “eat-by” date on the packaging. However, when served, we found it to be dry and tasteless. In fact, it was so bad it was inedible and we threw most of it away. An expensive and disappointing waste of money. I would certainly not recommend this product.

Did not live up to description
Was looking forward to receiving this to serve as part of Boxing Day buffet.However was disappointed. Only a meagre amount of smoked salmon which in no way covered the surface of the poached salmon. My guests did not think the poached salmon had much taste. Such a shame.

Ordered this for a Boxing Day family gathering! Selected the latest delivery date available (20th December) and it arrived that morning! Extremely well packaged within an ice pack to keep it fresh! Eat by date was 31st December! It also tasted delicious! Would recommend!

I bought the Coln Valley Poached salmon about a month ago for a family gathering. The salmon arrived early in the morning packed in ice. I put it in the fridge in its packaging until I needed to use it 2 days later. It was so fresh and tasty. Everyone commented on how lovely and fresh it was. The smoked salmon on top enhanced the flavour. It was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely order again. Excellent product.

This is the first time I have ordered food on line and for delivery. Top marks for all . The web site was easy to use. The order arrived on the day and was very well wrapped in ice packs and packaging. The salmon and smoked salmon was the best quality and went down a treat. I cannot recommend this and COSTCO enough

Arrived all packaged extremely well to keep the salmon cold. Had several guests who said the salmon was delicious, very succulent & covered in smoked salmon. Would recommend 100 o/o & will DEFINITELY buy again .

Delicious party piece
The salmon was delicious. Moist and with good flavour. The smoked salmon top was disappointingly scarce but this did not detract from the overall taste and appearance once dressed. Gained approving noises from our guests. Well packed on delivery and on time.

The poached salmon was nice, however it’s not worth paying more for the smoked salmon on top which on mine was literally one small slither covering only a small part of the poached salmon. I bought more myself to cover the rest to make it look presentable.

Delivery issue
After initial shipment notification the parcel went missing with no tracking available. Eventually received it after a couple of days from shipment date in a plastic/paper bag so had to reject the item as inedible. I had no chance of tasting this salmon.

I bought this for my Silver Wedding party. It arrived extremely well packaged, with ice packs. Compliments all round from my guests. I dressed up the plate with lemon wedges and parsley – looked great. Would definitely buy again for a special occasion.

Folk really enjoyed this salmon and none was wasted. Itwas beautifully cooked and the smoked salmon wrap was very tasty too.
Packaging was great and kept fish very fresh. Delivery was good – achose day and was given updates of when to expect same.
