Great garage door
Ordered grey garage door. The Garage Door Company carries out the installation and they are fantastic. The surveyor was very helpful and was able to arrange to fit the door in exactly the position I wanted. Also changed the guide rails and header box from white to matching grey at no cost. For an additional £75 paid direct to them, also fully covered the gaps left from the old door with matching anthracite upvc trim. The guys doing the installation were great and left the place clean and tidy afterwards. The door itself is very high quality, super quiet and also something that isn’t mentioned is it has a built in110dbA alarm if the door is forced from the bottom. I paid £1500 for it but the following month it dropped to £1200. I filled out the on line price adjustment request form and thinkassemble.co.uk refunded £300 when the installation was completed. Happy days! These doors are circa 2k from Cardale, so a good deal from thinkassemble.co.uk even at the full price. Overall, extremely happy and would highly recommend.

Currently too many issue to recommend
So far I would not recommend having a door fitted through thinkassemble.co.uk. The fitting company (The Garage Door Company) is not local, almost 6 hour return trip. First attempt fit – door made to wrong specifications; second fit and door is too narrow and 8″ too short. Now on third attempt – watch this space. The door does appear to be well made, electrics and key fobs work ok. I am unsure who is at fault with these issue so I would not recommend.

The Garage Door Company carried out survey and fit
The garage door company carried out the survey and gave good advise. The company carried out the fitting in a timely manner and removed all of the waste including door, with the completed fitting done in under 3 hours. The fitters were very friendly and would’ve happy to recommend this company to friends and family.
