I got myself one of these as we use one in the van at work and its never been a problem. I was amazed at how cheap they are, I’m not the business type that takes phone calls on the road, but at this price its worth it just in case you need it. I have an older HTC phone and the Buddy linked with it easily (the phone at work is even older!) so it would seem that you don’t need the latest phones to use one of these. Fits onto the driver’s visor by a strong magnet, no tools required. Seems to last a long time on a single charge, I supposed it depends on how much you use it. Apparently you can get it to do voice-dialing, but that’s too complicated for an old guy like me! Really, at this price you could get one just to see if you like the experience of hands-free instead of pulling over each time you want to take a call.UPDATE 31/12/14: When I got this device, I put the instructions in a safe place…..never to be seen again(of course!). Now I’ve got a new phone and want to pair it with the hands-free unit, but cant find the instructions. Contacted vendor, who said they’d email me a copy, but didn’t. I bought this for my partner so she could ‘remind’ me to do things whilst she was driving.This handsfree speaker clips onto the sun-visor (magnetically) and is much sturdier than you may think reading ‘magnet’.It pairs quickly and easily with her phone, and the sound quality is excellent both from her point of view and from the other (ie the other end of the conversation) perspective. The quality of this is on a par with the built in bluetooth I have in my BMW, for a fraction of the price.At this price you’d be hard pressed to find a better alternative, in build quality, reception and ease of use, it really ticks all the boxes.As a bonus it also has voice-dialing which makes things a little extra safe, although before use it would be worth making sure the people you call regularly don’t have entries in your contacts which are too similar (ie John, John 2, John H), just to make your own life easier.This has been used with an Android Samsung s6 and Samsung s7, in a Vauxhall Corsa. Contrary to some other reviews the sound quality from the microphone and speaker is very good, even at speed. The battery life is excellent, it easily lasts 10 days between charges.

I was looking for a blue tooth device for my car and had considered a Parot but they are expensive and the visor kit a little too big for my taste. Having read reviews I went for the Buddy and am pleased I did. It works exceptionally well with clear sound and speech, it is easy to operate and easy to pair with mobile phones. It will allow two phones to be paired within the car, it is very small, and stays charged (depending on use) for many days – in fact for two weeks and it is cheap to buy. The unit automatically picks up the paired mobile when you approach the car so no faffing about having to constantly pair the phone. The only problem is the range – it is too great!! it picks up when I’m in the house so when phone rings, you need to select handset option on the phone otherwise you cannot speak or listen to the call, as it is being relayed to the unit. Generally this is an excellent divice so if you want a straight out of the box solution don’t spend loads on snything else and don’t spend less on other cheaper manufacturers.

I bought this a good while ago and waited to write a review so I could check for degrading and recharge life. This has been one of the best hands free kit I have ever bought. Depending on your phone configuration you can use voice to answer calls and dial contacts, you can also call out the individual numbers for calls where you don’t have the number stored. The rechargeable battery life has been excellent with no noticeable drop in maximum charge levels. Even if your phone is not setup to use the hands free voice calls and answer, the features are only one button press away. The buttons are responsive and well placed so even in the dark they are easy to find. Pairing up is easy and fast and the mounting bracket fits snuggly onto a sunvisor or coat hook and so on.the unit itself has a rear magnet to lock on the the bracket or other metal surface. The calls are very clear and can be increased to a very loud setting, it filters out background noise so the callers can hear you and is a great little unit.There in is a problem, it’s a very reasonable price and fairly low yet delivers a quality only found in a unit from six times more. Because it’s low priced there’s not much money for thieves wanting to sell a stolen unit, but because it’s so good they will happily break into your car causing large amounts of damage for something they will probably only get a ten pound note for as I found out by personal experience. It was the police that informed me of the high theft numbers for these. It reinforces the warning never to leave anything on display, not even the mounting bracket as in my case. That’s the down side while the unit just pulls of and slips into your pocket, the sunvisor must be folded back out of view or some scumbag will think it’s worth breaking into your vehicle. That’s the only negative with these units they are attractive to thieves, they are loud and clear enough to be used in trucks not just cars and vans which many hands free kits are not. Hopefully that’s enough info for anyone wondering about buying this. You won’t regret it.

Bonjour,J’ai commandé ce produit pour le mettre dans la voiture. Pour cette fois veuillez m’excuser, mais je n’ai pas pris de photos.Qualité du produit :Très bonne qualité. La marque est reconnue dans le domaine sans fil. Du HAUT DE GAMME selon moi.Le produit et son emballage :Livré dans une boite en plastique, on y trouve l’appareil bluetooth, 1 support métallique pour aimanter au pare soleil, un câble USB pour charger l’appareil, 1 manuel d’explications et un adaptateur allume cigare.Utilisation du produit :Simple a prendre en main, on peut donc l’aimanter a son pare soleil avec le support fourni. L’aimant est puissant et donc quelque soit la conduite, je pense qu’il ne se décrochera pas (je tiens a préciser que je ne suis pas pilote de dragster ni d’auto tamponneuses). Il s’allume facilement et s’apaire facielement aussi. Mais pour ma part je me trompe souvent entre le bouton décrocher et le bouton éteindre lorsque je veux l’éteindre.Mon avis :Très bon produit que je recommande fortement. Die Lieferung über Think Assemble lief wie immer reibungslos und superschnell.Das Gerät kommt in der Herstellerverpackung,mit auch deutscher Bedienungsanleitung,Ladekabel und KFZ-Adapter.Ich habe einige Freisprecheinrichtungen um die 20-30€ probiert und bin in Sachen Funktionalität in der Praxis enttäuscht worden.Lasst euch von ähnlich aussehenden Geräten zu etwas kleinerem Geld nicht zum Kauf verleiten.Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht,das die alle nichts taugen.Entweder die Spachqualität ist mies oder zu leise,oder die Geräte schalten sich nach einiger Zeit ab und man muss es bei jeder Fahrt neu einschalten.Oder die Akkus halten nur einen Tag und und und.Dieser kleine Buddy hier ist gut durchdacht und hält was er verspricht!!!Zunächst einmal war mir wichtig,das ich beim Einsteigen ins Auto das Gerät nicht immer wieder einschalten muss.Und das ist hier gegeben.Nach einiger Zeit Bluetootthunterbrechung schaltet sich der Buddy in den StandByBetrieb um den Akku zu schonen.Kommt man wieder in Reichweite,verbindet sich Handy und Buddy wieder automatisch-OHNE EIN UND AUSSCHALTEN des Buddys.Verbindung und Trennung signalisiert der Buddy mit einem hörbaren,aber nicht zu lautem Ton.Von anderen Geräten bin ich bei Verbindung fast schon angeschrien worden mit einem “Connect” und “Dissconnect” auf voller Lautstärke.Und das liess sich nichtmal leiser stellen.Ich habe das gerät nun schon fast eine Woche und ich musste den Akku bisher noch nicht laden,er scheint also zu halten was er verspricht.Auch hier haben andere Fakegeräte bereits nach einem Tag den Geist aufgegeben.Die Automatische Verbindung funktioniert auch reibungslos.Es kann mal 1-2 Minuten dauern,bis der Verbindungston kommt,das ist aber auch beschrieben.Meist kommt die Verbindung aber kurz nach dem Einsteigen zustande.Also eine Zuverlässige Sache mit einem automatischem Service,den man einmal einrichtet und ins Auto setzt und getrost vergessen kann,bis mal jemand anruft oder der Akku leer ist.Die Einrichtung funktioniert denkbar einfach wie bei allen Bluetoothgeräten.Beim ersten Einschalten sucht der Buddy gleich nach einem Endgerät,den Buddy einfach am Handy auswählen und schon sind sie verbunden.Die Bedienung ist einfach und auch gut erklärt in der Bedienungsanleitung.Es ist eine Wahlwiederholung möglich,Anrufe können abgelehnt werden.Für Handys mit Sprachwahl wie Apples Siri o.ä.ist auch dies über den Buddy möglich.Einfach die grüne Taste eine Sekunde drücken und schon kann der Name des gewünschten Gesprächspartners gesprochen werden und wird angerufen.(Ich nutze das Gerät über ein Iphone 6plus).Die Gesprächslautstärke ist auch absolut ausreichend und in guter Qualität,auch hier bin ich von anderen Geräten sehr enttäuscht worden.Der Buddy gibt den Gesprächspartner aber absolut zufriedenstellend wieder,auch haben sich noch keine Gesprächspartner über Rauschen oder ähnliche Qualitätsmängel beschwert.Mein Fazit:Es wird viel Schund in diesem oder kleinerem Preissegment angeboten.Der Buddy allerdings ist ein gut durchdachter hochwertiger Begleiter,der hält was er verspricht! Daher alle 5 Sterne…Absolute Kaufempfehlung !!!!
