Shirley Bardell –
As advertised. Good phone.
Eidas –
Delivered quickly, packaged well. A nice light phone and fairly easy to use with no problem setting up or calling. Inexpensive and decent quality. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was purely for the fact that the volume on the phone could of been louder ( in my opinion) even on the highest setting I found it was rather quiet and at times when the household was busy found it was difficult to hear from the other end of the line. So if people are hard of hearing I’d most likely go for a higher volume phone as this one is rather quiet. Apart from that, works fine.

For the money, this is an excellent, well made, attractive and reliable phone. It will work on BT lines and lines installed by Virgin Media. Again, it has a good memory facility for the price. Good, long leads are provided. I did have a slight problem that the curly handset lead tended to pull the base off its side table, but this is a very minor niggle, and probably would not be experienced on a desk top, where the user would extend the curly lead less than I did. It is versatile too, being wall-mountable. Both leads are provided, and the one from the base to the wall is a good length. I wanted this phone, because the crazy Virgin package offer on broadband and tv made it cheaper to have a phone line which is unused, than to exclude it.(In this particular application, the phone can be used to make free service calls, which in my experience can often be time consuming and useless). If you have a powered, wireless phone network in your home, this phone would make a useful emergency phone, because it goes on working during a power cut. Overall, I like it very much.

I wanted a basic phone for the bedroom which I could mount on the wall to avoid using surface space. This one is compact, fits neatly on the wall and is barely noticeable. It has all the basic functions. The ringing tone and voice volume control are simple and straightforward. The ringing tone is audible but not excessively loud. There is some control over it, but basically it’s medium and soft. Same with the voice control. The unit is well constructed and nicely designed. I find that BT products tend to be pretty reliable and this is no exception. Good value for money.

I had previously bought a phone that was made in china .It stopped working very soon after purchase and was rubbish The BT phoneis excellent and im relieved. Stick to BT
Birkbeckian –
Quite a nice “budget” phone which I bought for my elderly mother; I think it might be best if wall-mounted though, as the base unit it sits in seems a bit wobbly on the table my mother has it on and is quite light weight – so, on a couple of occasions when I’ve replaced the handset I’ve ended up knocking the base across the table. You can store a few telephone numbers and assign these to “speed dial” keys which I’ve done for my mother. A bit of a minus point on this phone in this respect though, as to connect to a stored telephone number you have to press two keys, whereas on my mother’s previous telephone this was a one-key process. Anyway, my mother has got used to this now. On the plus side, the phone looks nice and is compact.
Billy Buchan –
This is a good quality old fashioned, wired phone. Stops the constant trickle charge to the old wireless one we had, saving electricity. The ringer volume is a bit loud or quiet. But it works well and is compact(ish).
Richard –
I really wanted a simple “phone only” to use as my landline; so in the evening I can shut down my mobile and only have a landline for family and close friends to phone me on.My previous attempts at this were disastrous because the phones that I bought had batteries which always seemed to run out so quickly, so I had no confidence that if I was on a call the phone would suddenly go dead on me.This phone is the perfect answer. All you need to do is to plug the telephone line cord into the wall socket and that is it; you have a phone that will never die on you.One thing that you will need if you are using broadband on the same phone line and only have a single socket is a microfilter, which is not supplied. If your main phone socket has two separate sockets then you won’t need a microfilter. After plugging in my microfilter I have a phone that is limitless in power and has great phone line sound quality. If you want a simple landline phone without any “extras”, i.e. it is just a phone then this is perfect for you.

Il telefono e’ molto bello nonche’ buono qualitativamente ma presenta un problema che lo rende inutilizzabile, lo spinotto che deve entrare nella presa e di tipo inglese, non italiano. Non si puo’ attaccare alla presa del telefono.
