After hunting the Internet for reviews on what headphones to buy and what not to buy, I came across the new Bose Quietcomfort headphones, only released in the latter end of 2023.It was a toss up between these and the rivaling Sony WH1000XM4s, and these come out on top.Firstly, the sound of these headphones are near enough perfect. Straight out of the box, they are well balanced and offer a great amount of bass without distorting whilst also not drowning out the mids and the trebles. The box instructs you to download the Bose app and within this, you can adjust the EQ to your liking. Sound quality is very subjective and it must be understood that when looking at reviews for headphones, you may have different preferences when it comes to sound. And this is where the EQ comes in – you can adjust the bass, mid and trebles. As an audiophile myself, I am geared more towards crisp and non distorted sound whilst also preferring to feel the bass. These headphones do that. I have adjusted the EQ in favour of bass, slightly increasing the mid and favouring more treble too. They have a great balance and will not distort the sound. A tip for testing out these headphones whether at home or in the store would be to search for Spotify playlist specifically created to test out headphones with well produced songs of all genres.The fit is great and they are comfortable (as expected with the name). These are my first headphones due to always using earbuds in the past. They do not feel hot or close to the ear as reported sometimes with the XM4, and after trying out both of the headphones in store I can confidently say these are more comfortable.The build quality is as expected, they feel solid whilst also being lightweight and flexible. I will have to see how these last but judging by previous versions of the Quietcomfort, they will last a long time. I have seen quite a few issues reported online with the XM4 and XM5s breaking that hinge and this is not what you want from headphones whih are designed to fold.The ANC is great and is definitely industry leading. I haven’t tried the XM4s NC fully so cannot comment on the comparison however these are far superior to my other wireless earbuds (pixel pro) and airpod pros. ANC on any headphones are not designed to block out 100% of noise however these come close to it. I cannot hear chatter or low frequencies and I believe these will perform well in noisy environments. They do have a slight (really slight) white noise when not playing music in ANC mode however you will not find a pair of headphones that will not as the technology is not advanced enough to do so. The aware mode is equally impressive and allows you to hear what you is around you and hold conversation without feeling like you have headphones on your head.The buttons are easy to use and controls the noise cancelling mode, volume, play/pause and the on and off switch. I do not like headphones/earbuds with swipe functions as they sometimes do not work properly and I struggle to see how physical buttons on these headphones will fail.These are the improved version of the QC45s with the addition of wind block mode which I had read was terrible on the QC45s. The drivers are reported to be better on the newer versions meaning more bass and better sound quality.If you are after a reliable pair of headphones then get these. They are expensive however are a great investment. The XM4s are slightly cheaper however have more reported issues, as with the QC45s.

So good, it was worth the price.
The most I ever paid for headphones was $250. But they all had the same problems. Sub par or weak noise cancelling, annoying battery life and were uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.I decided to take the plunge after watching a couple Youtube reviews. They all had positive things to say about these Bose headphones and said I wouldn’t be disappointed. Oh Em Gee they WEREN’T KIDDING!You most definitely get what you pay for!The noise cancelling feature is awesome! It blocks so much noise and muffles out annoying high pitch or loud noises. For example: they completely block out my neighbors who talk loud, TV sounds, light stomping. It completely blocks out all outdoor car sounds. For louder noises such as power tools, hammer banging or very loud bass booming sounds, the headphones actually make them a lot more tolerable. They sound a lot more muffled and when listening to music, if I raise the volume it actually makes those loud sounds almost gone. I love it!The battery life for these things also blew me away. I still can’t believe I was able to listen to game audio, TV shows, movies and music for 15+ hours straight from the moment I wake up in the morning to the second I take them off to go to sleep and still have another 8-10 hours for the next day all on a single charge!These things are so comfortable. My ears fit perfectly inside the headphones and it never feels like they’re pressing against the legs of my glasses which other headphones create discomfort.Lastly, to those that say they had problems pairing these in Windows 11, they weren’t detected at first, but all I did was reboot my PC, re-attempted the pairing and it found them immediately. I also made sure to update my motherboard Bluetooth drivers before the headset was delivered. I’m sure that helped too.

J’ai offert ce casque Bose QuietComfort Headphones – Édition Limitée Bleu Crépuscule et j’ai eu l’occasion de le tester. Je dois dire que l’expérience est vraiment agréable.La réduction de bruit est impressionnante : elle permet de s’isoler complètement quand on veut être au calme, mais le mode Aware est pratique pour rester attentif à son environnement sans avoir à enlever le casque.Le confort est aussi un vrai point fort. Les coussinets sont très doux et l’arceau reste agréable même après plusieurs heures d’écoute, sans sensation de pression.Côté son, la qualité est au rendez-vous : les basses, médiums et aigus sont bien équilibrés, et la possibilité de régler l’égaliseur permet d’adapter le rendu selon ses préférences.L’autonomie est excellente : environ 24 heures, et une recharge rapide de 15 minutes suffit pour tenir encore plus de deux heures. C’est pratique quand on oublie de le charger.J’ai aussi apprécié la connexion multipoint : le casque reste lié à plusieurs appareils et je peux passer de mon téléphone à mon ordinateur sans devoir refaire la connexion.Un autre point que je trouve vraiment appréciable, c’est la qualité des appels téléphoniques. Le micro est très performant : ma voix est claire et bien entendue par mon interlocuteur, et de mon côté l’écoute est agréable, sans parasites ni coupures. Cela rend les conversations fluides et confortables, même sur une longue durée.Enfin, l’application Bose est utile pour les réglages et les mises à jour, ce qui assure un suivi et une optimisation régulière.En résumé, c’est un casque confortable, pratique et très efficace, aussi bien pour profiter de sa musique que pour passer des appels dans les meilleures conditions.

Good headphones. Delivers on the noise cancellation feature absolutely
I got the headphones delivered today and have set it up and checked it. There are some points worth mentioning1. Setting up the headphones is easy. Just download the app and follow the steps and you are good to go2. Wanted to check the noise cancellation feature and I give full marks to it. I toggled between quite mode and aware mode and could immediately make out the difference. The quiet mode where the noise cancellation works is awesome. You can’t hear anything apart from the sounds of the headphones. It is absolute3. Love the case and the fit of the headphones in it.4. Headphones fits completely and comfortably over the ear. I am yet to use it for prolonged period of time. So would hold off on the review for this point.5. I didn’t have to adjust the size but it is still loose for me. Kind of started to slip off from my head. But that’s my issue I guess and not a universal problem6. Sound quality is good. Not wow. I did adjust the EQ. Not complaining though
