For me, the best overall ANC headphones. In terms of the acoustics, the Sony M6 is generally considered superior, but I personally have not found that distinction. They sound great, and immersive mode is my choice. The EQ could be better in the app, but maybe that will be update from future firmware. As for comfort, they are way ahead of the competition. Long haul flights will be so much more comfortable as well as noisy train/metro travel. They look great with premium build quality- I chose desert gold. Battery life is good enough for my requirements covering long travel journeys with ease. I do wish Bose kept the physical button for volume control, but the touch slider is OK once you get used to it. Also, the headband adjustment is not ratcheted which I prefer, but relies on a smooth tug, which sometimes results in an asymmetrical look. These are small niggles!Overall, for me they are the best options. In summary, great ANC, ultra-comfortable fit, strong acoustics, and premium quality looks.

This one versus the xm6 I will give the victory to this one. Both have great sound quality and anc but I prefer a few things here. It’s slightly more comfortable. The volume control is far better here. The auto stop when not wearing works better too. But the main reason is it does not get full of finger smudges after a few hours of use. This smudge problem on xm6 is annoying. If someone asks if they worth the price the answer is a big NO. You can find a very similar sound quality and anc on sony ult wear which I paid 140 euro. It’s definitely a luxury item. You buy it if you have conditions and that’s it.

This is a review from feedback my brother who I purchased these on behalf of – they were, hopefully, to be an upgrade from the Bose QC35 he’d had for 8 years to the month. He really like these and apart from getting me to replace the ear cup covers twice they remained as good as they were from new. Used most days for an hour or few, sometimes more.First impressions…* Feel smaller, lighter, more comfortable fit* Sounded significantly better with the bass response really impressive* Noise cancellation significantly improved with the transition from quiet to the new aware mode smooth and not jarring. After three weeks…* Much better than QC 35… sources include Classical lrock and other music, speech from TV and Radio* Lighter on head* More comfortable ear cuffs so can use much longer* Continuous adjustment of headband better than QC 35’s step* Better Noise Cancelation* Aware mode uses microphones to provide very good sound from noisy’ish rooms with TV and even modest music* Better Base Sound Environment* Aware Mode provides better in ear awareness as uses headphone’s microphones to recreate ambient sounds in the headphones* Cinema mode produces more understandable lyrics* Use of iOS App to control headphone functionality Is preferable to using the on headphone buttons and slider* Very impressed. A considerable better experience over my QC 35

Excellent sound quality- audio fileExcellent build qualityExcellent looks good and feel and when wearingExcellent material and styleUltimate comfortLike the brushed still on the QC ultra version 1 , not the version 2 with the shinny metalWhen using a separate DAC the wired headphone sounds great and in lossless quality

These headphones have a premium feel to them. I found them to have a comfortable fit. Pairing the device was easy. The sound quality is very good, and the noise cancellation is excellent. Of course, the same could be said about all the models before these. I have a pair of Sony XM3’s which are rather old now – but these still sound great and have good noise cancellation. I am just not sure that the huge step up in price to these is worth it.I do wish they would use a better voice for announcing the battery level, connection status, etc. It sounds like an angry old lady that is heavily digitalised. I just think for this price, they could have improved that.

Excellent, very easy to set up using the app (linked to an iPhone). Sound quality seems superb and the noise cancelling beyond expectations. Bought my last Bose h/Set many years ago, it connects via cable to a phone, well an iPhone of about 8 years ago that is. I used it up until last year when the earmuffs fell to pieces and Bose wanted over 30 for replacements. Have to say these H/Sets a step up in everyway and well worth the £400 odd.

The bose headphones are incredible. A huge upgrade from my old bose headphones. So many great features for watching films and listening to music. Noise cancellation is impressive. They’re on the expensive side but well worth the money.

Unbeatable ANC and mind-blowing Immersive Audio!
The gold standard for noise cancellation! The new Immersive Audio mode makes music feel like it’s coming from speakers in front of you, not just inside your head. They are incredibly comfortable for long flights and the transparency mode sounds perfectly natural. Battery life is solid and the folding design is great for travel. A premium 5-star investment for any music lover!

The best headphones I’ve ever had.
The build quality is great, as is the design. I love the polished metal of the yolks. The comfort is amazing. If that is your priority, there is no need to view other headphones. The controls are good, I like them. The volume slider is interesting. A bit confusing at first but easy to use when you get used to it.The sound quality is amazing. The sound stage is wide, the instrument separation is there. The sound is clear, the bass is just the right amount and I like the treble. I am speaking for the bluetooth music streaming and with the default EQ. If you don’t like the default EQ, you can always change the sound to your liking. It works great. These are the first headphones I have that give me the option to listen to Hi-Res Lossless audio. It is absolutely amazing to me. I never thought that there would be such a difference from the lossy bluetooth AAC audio.ANC is the best i’ve ever experienced and the “Aware” mode is great. It is very natural. “Immersion” mode is not that great, I will personally not use it for music. This mode is maybe the ONLY “bad” thing about these headphones. The app is great, intuitive and easy to use, I love it.If you are looking for really comfortable headphones, that have a great design/build quality, great functionalities, good controls, amazing sound quality and the option to listen to Hi-Res Lossless audio, I think these are the best headphones to get. They are absolutely worth it and I am very happy that I purchased them. Bose really did an amazing job with this product.
